Godfreys Sunbury

I've been looking for a new vacuum cleaner for my business for a while now, Sam was very thorough at explaining everything i needed to know about the product.

These guys really helped me out in a time of need. I'm a professional car detailer and my shampoo & extraction machine blew up on a Friday and I needed another ASAP and no where had any in stock. I called this store and he said he doesn't have one but will drive to the warehouse over the weekend and pick one up and it will be ready on Monday morning. Saved me from losing money and customers.

On Sunday 23 October, attended Godfrey's Sunbury to purchase a steam mop. Fantastic customer service experience; owner was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He was able to answer all questions and we're very satisfied with our new purchase. Thank you.

What a joke of a shop $500 loss of sales

I have just moved out of home in to my new house and decided to come in and make a purchase at the sunbury store, I bought a steam mop and a carpet shampooer along with the fancy liquids required as well as leaving my Dyson to be repaired which I was told would take no more than a week and if it exceeded a certain dollar amount they would call to get my permission to repair. 2 weeks went by and I had heard nothing ... I called several times and coincidentally on my last phone call me vacuum had “only just arrived” ... the price also exceeded the amount I was quoted that I would receive a call for prior to commencement of repair. I let it go. I called to confirm the stores closing time matched what was written on google and a female employee advised me yes, I told her I would be there just before or after 5 to collect - I arrived at the sunbury store just before to find it closed ... I drove 30 minutes for nothing and had to turn around and go home. Called customer service and spoke to a lovely gentleman who was very helpful who sent an email off on my behalf to follow up my case, I was also advised godfreys could arrange the vac to be couriered to me for any inconvenience. After the weekend the sunbury owner had called me and said the website hours were not displayed accurately online (you’d think his staff member might have wanted to mention that when I said I was coming at 5pm?) and can’t I just come and pick up the vacuum that day to Which I declined an asked for a courier to deliver given the circumstance. The owner agreed and said the courier would call to confirm a drop off time ... a week went by and again no phone call and no vaccuum ... I called the call Center again to complain as this was not good enough ... the owner once again called me but I was driving home from work and could not answer, an hour later I had stopped at the supermarket and received a call from unknown mobile number ... I answer and to my suspense it was the store owner asking if I was home as he was STANDING AT MY FRONT DOOR. Correct me if I’m wrong but wouldn’t running this by me before showing up at my home address have been more appropriate? I was expecting a call from a courier or at least some notice ... I was forced to abandon my shopping cart and leave as I didn’t want my vacuum being left outside with no one home. Everyone I have asked has agreed this wasn’t how things should have been handled. Whilst the store owner was polite and even exchanged a steam mop I was extremely disappointed with as it left massive wet patches and marks everywhere, I
Am grateful for this even though I had to call after a week and then after two chasing up where my new mop was because of lack of customer service. I wasted several weeks waiting and chasing vacuums and steam mops, showing up to a closed store and having someone unexpectedly show up to my house. My whole experience has put me off ever wanting to buy from godfreys again and quiet frankly I would never recommend godfreys to anyone I know given my experience. The area manager has since apologised on sunbury behalf but honestly it’s not good enough! There are several complaints on Facebook about this store and I now know why :)

Took my vacuum for a service. 3 months later and no response. I have been there and phoned several times - I am always told the technician isn't there and they will get back to me, which they never do.

brought a vacuum cleaner of these guys made a lot of false promises paid $600 dollars for a vacuum cleaner that has been in the shop for repairs for nearly 2 months so they say.
The shop keeps hanging up on me would not recommend these guys to anyone I should have brought a Dyson

Guy on phone just guessing my enquiry answer n had to say should u check n then he did 1 sec later same answer obviously didnt go store room n was no help what so eva.
Clearly no care factor to make any sale n didnt care to look after n gain a happy customer.

Waited for the store to open said 9.30 opening a guy rocks up at 9.32 casually opens the door goes back to his car gets his lunch wanders back in. I ask about steam mops they’ve been advertising on tv for sale he said got nothing maybe next week, no attempt to help me what so ever so went to Harris scarf got a $100 steam mop for $49.99 bad luck idiots at Godfrey I will never shop with you again
