Saltwater Restaurant Fingal Bay, Port Stephens

We had our wedding at Saltwater Restaurant at Fingal Bay on the 1st of March and it was more than we could ever dreamed of. From the beginning, Katie and Jordan at Wedding Road and the staff at Saltwater were so professional with world class communication. My husband and I had complete trust in the team which meant we were able to relax and enjoy our day. The guests raved about how delicious the food was, how beautiful the set up was and how great the staff was. We will be recommending to everyone about Saltwater as a wedding venue. We could not be happier with how it all went! Thank you so much Saltwater staff! We will remember this forever!

My partner and I had our wedding at saltwater restaurant last Monday and it could not have been more perfect. From the day we viewed the venue to our wedding day and beyond, the staff were lovely and treated us like family. The venue was absolutely stunning and I could not have asked for anything better on our special day. Other than being able to stay longer! The food was incredible and left no one hungry.

The coffee was seriously good.
The virgin mojito was sooo good.

Apparently they cater for getogethers, birthdays, weddings etc too. And the sunsets would be divine.

We will return very soon for a sunset dinner with friends.

Saltwater at Fingal Bay is an absolute dream wedding venue. The location at Fingal Bay Beach is stunning, and Jordan and Kylie ensured that everything was organised flawlessly. The decor beautifully complements the view, the food is plentiful and very delicious, the staff provide exceptional service.
We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable day.

Lovely restaurant in Fingal Bay at SLSC building (Surf Life Saving Club). The staffs were friendly and accomodating as we were just walked in for lunch. Most of window’s tables were booked but outdoor seating available. We chose indoor as it was windy and chilly. The view from inside and outside the restaurant is fantastic. The fish pan fried Barra and fish n chips were delicious. Chips was crispy. The scallops a bit over cooked, salmon was good. There’s a limited vegetarian option. The Vege laksa was average, a bit pricey for Vege option. Other than that, price was reasonable between $26 (fish n chips) to 30ish. Scallop I think $4/each. Would love to come back next time when visiting Port Stephens.

Wow what a day , we never wanted it to end. All our guests keep telling us it was one of the best weddings they have been too. Everyone raved about how full they were and quality of food and drinks. The view is spectacular and with the outside and inside feel you have the perfect mix. Located right on the beach with loads of accommodation close by our travelling guests could enjoy themselves and stroll back to their rooms. We are so glad we chose Saltwater for our wedding and thoroughly recommend it to anyone

Shoal bay/Fingal bay is a place that means the world to my husband and I even before we got married. We knew we has to get married at saltwater. The place is stunning itself and provides a sense of peace and calm. The staff went above and beyond the assist with my wedding day and wow did they impress!

We visited this restaurant on a weekday for lunch. Omg. The service was beyond exceptional! The staff were professional, accommodating and so very welcoming.
The food was lovely and the ambience perfection.
The lovely gentleman who served us absolutely made our day with his positive and cheerful service. He even arranged for us to have a family photo at the end of the meal!
5 stars , whole family had a great time thank you and we will be there again!!!

Amazing venue for any occasion. We were there for a friends birthday. Nothing was too much of a hassle. The food was fantastic, Great prices and loads of variety. Heaps of space with some amazing views! Will definitely be returning.

We can’t thank Kylie, Dave and Katie enough for the effort and hard work they put into making sure our wedding day was perfect. They made the whole process so easy on us which helped us have a stress free planning process. The day flowed seamlessly and perfectly. We couldn’t be happier. Our wedding cake arrive broken and Dave went out of his way to fix it for us. The food and service was amazing! Everyone commented on how lovely everything was. It was the most perfect day of our lives and we will be recommending them to everyone!

Amazing wedding venue! The views are amazing. The staff are fantastic and make you feel like family. And then the food…. So so yummy!!!!

Called in for Sunday lunch. Food was amaising, beer was cold, cocktails were delicious but most importantly the service provided by David was sensational. Thank you so much. We had a lovely relaxing afternoon. Would have stayed longer if we didn’t have to drive.

This venue was booked for my wedding and wow what a day it was! The food was amazing, the view was amazing and thanks to Kylie and her team, the whole day went perfectly. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a wedding by the beach but indoors!

We booked yesterday and got a great table by the window . The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great the chef did a fantastic job preparing a diverse menu . Happy hour was a bit confusion just check what's included in the happy hour menu before ordering . We will go back for lunch or dinner before our holiday is over .

Could not ask for a better wedding venue! Could not fault any aspect of the process of organizing our wedding with the team at Saltwater Restaurant. They are an amazing team that made our day wonderful. The last minute decision to change our outdoor reception to indoors turned out to be amazing! The stunning views of Fingal Beach and the well lit up space made us realize how fortunate we were to hold our wedding ceremony at Saltwater Restaurant. The food was amazing too. Our guests still rave about the food and it's been 5 weeks since the big day.

Such a lovely place for lunch. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. There was a little hiccup with one of our meals and it was swiftly and professionally dealt with. The staff are lovely, the venue is great and the view is to die for. The cocktails are really good too.

We love Saltwater for dinner, it never disappoints! Staff are always super friendly and available to take food and drink orders when needed. The food is excellent, seafood is always fresh and lovely. The cocktails are a standout and you won't find better anywhere nearby.
