Barry Park Lookout

This is the best place for sunrise. There are multiple little places here you can go for sunrise that makes you feel like you are the only one there! It's easy to get to, easy parking, and can not recommend this place enough.

There are picnic tables as well if you want to come for lunch or afternoon tea. The ground is flat, so it is good for older people or wheelchairs. A wonderful must go to!

Great vantage point looking out to Fingal Bay and the Pacific Ocean, toilets, showers and car parking is very close by.

Lucky if you spot a whale. Place is beautiful regardless

An awesome hidden gem! I have bad arthritis in both knees and walk with a crutch but the walk out to the point was well with the effort!! It is mostly gentle grade but there are a few steps and rocks to negotiate. But wow what a beautiful place to sit and think!!!

Fantastic views. Been holidaying in Port Stephens since I was in the womb, but never knew this place even existed until this year. Easy to get to even for less mobile sightseers. Plus there is a park bench at the end of the short walk where you can sit and enjoy the panoramic views. Plenty of beautiful photo ops. Will definitely be back during whale watching season. There's parking, picnic tables and public toilets.

Beautiful view from the lookout. The shark island at the front and Fingal bay the left. A very quite place to have small get together with friends or family. It has picnic spot and barbecue as well. Parking available.

Best for evening time..... can sit there for long time and enjoy the scenic beauty. I heard from locals here that if you are lucky enough you might get whale views.

Quiet lookout ......

I found this park nice and tidy and it had a great viewing for the Wales a nice spot to take the family for a picnic and it was easy access there was parking outside and we walked in just a short walk a nice little getaways from mwh

Great view and is this the point were we can see the whale in the time period of Oct to nov.

Nice lookout and can see whales during season.

Go to the lookout even out of the whale season .
