St. James' Anglican Church, Morpeth

Beautiful old church, wonderful location for our lovely cousins memorial service yesterday. Very hot though which is something you can't over come, ceiling or wall fans would have been wonderful.

We were there for a funeral, the Reverend was very sincere and spoke very well. A beautiful old church with alot of history, it was the first church to be built outside of Newcastle and is approximately 180 years old. If you're in morpeth, even if you don't have anything to do with the church, call in to say g'day to the Reverend, and have a look at the beautiful stained glass work

Exquisite architecture. Amazing history. Built by Mr Close. I hear it's bells every day and love that I live in Morpeth!
