Beautiful quiet neighborhood, stylish & simple rooms that were comfortable, free breakfast, pretty patio to dine on, walking distance to trains and harbor ferry- we loved this place! Even the shared bathrooms were always clean & vacant when needed. Found parking surprisingly easy on a weeknight, might be tricky on the weekend. Would absolutely stay again!

Really lovely location. We stayed in a triple room with bathroom. It was clean and compact and had a ceiling fan and aircon. Perfect for what we needed. Well connected via train or ferry. We didn't have the breakfast but it looked like really good value!

A must visit accomodation if you’re ever in Kirribilli, reasonably priced for a fantastic atmosphere. Beautiful architecture and family owned business. The staff are very welcoming and hospitable. They have a breakfast buffet and ocean views if you go the top tier lookout. Family friendly and clean. Thank you for my time here, sorry for the dispute.
A 10/10 experience for a summer trip. But caters to any season. Some main attractions are a view of the Sydney harbour bridge, a beautiful jacaranda tree walk through that’s a must see during bloom, Luna park is a quick ferry ride away, as well as circular quay. Couldn’t recommend a better budget friendly hotel.

The rooms were very nice and the location is very central and on a street with beautiful trees. The breakfast had everything it needed and it was possible to eat in a beautiful Garden area. The shared bathroom situation is just like a shared bathroom situation is but the staff totally made up for it. Especially Paolo from the front desk who helped us with everything we wished for. Would recommend a stay.
We came with a baby and they had babychairs with is a big relief.

The neighbourhood is really posh, it's near the harbour and as it was spring there were lots of Jacaranda trees and flowers blooming. Accidentally left my key in the room and getting an emergency key was quick even after hours. There's also a lot of happenings around the area.

It's a bit hilly, to get to the lodge, and by that, there's some elevation involved. The place is also 12 minutes away from the nearest train station when walking, this could be a good thing or a bad thing as the views are wonderful anyway. It's a bit closer to the wharf but unfortunately they don't run as frequently. I personally don't like the two valve system for the shower.

Great location, good price. Nice freshly made buffet breakfast with multiple choices, really good. Nice room, bathrooms kept clean. Relaxing garden as well. The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Lea was terrific!
She greeted us at the door. We were very weary travelers coming by train & ferry and walking up the hill. Lea showed us two different rooms so that we would be comfortable.
Then Lea picked up our suitcase, as if she was picking up a bag of air and helped us. Lea then answered our questions of where to get groceries and eat. Very friendly staff. Accommodating.

Great place to stay, nice and quiet as it is out of the CBD. Getting there by ferry is very easy (one stop from Circular Quay) and you can also walk from Milsons Point (train and ferry). The room was very clean and we loved having our own balcony. The bathroom was shared, but very conveniently located just outside our room. Breakfast was included and a wide variety was offered. All the staff were very helpful. There were no lifts but we didn't mind taking the stairs.

Good location. Friendly staffs. It provides the private environment with reasonable price in Sydney. With cheaper price, you only able to find a hotel farther away or in a hostel. If you need to live near the CBD, it could be a suitable choice.

What a great place to stay. The location is perfect for access to ferries and trains, the staff were great and the breakfast options were exceptional. We'll be back when we come to Sydney again that's for sure.

Love this place. Third time here. Great value, awesome breakfast included, so close to kirribilli wharf for the 5 minute ferry ride to circular quay.

It's my second time staying here. Everything was perfect: a nice area, friendly people, and delicious breakfast. I’d definitely come back to this hotel next time.

Nice play to stay in. Close to Sydney Harbour and few minutes away from the CBD. Great value for the twin room (comes with breakfast).

Love staying here, haven’t had the free breakfast yet as a short stroll down to the wharf is Celcius which is the best breakfast ever … perfect location with only a short stroll to the harbour bridge and rooms are very clean and comfortable

I've given a 5-star rating based on value for money. This is by no means a "5-star hotel", but they do very well with what they have and I saw only high standards of cleanliness.

Absolute back to basics accommodation in a fantastic near-city location. No frills whatsoever, but very clean and quiet. I was in a single room with a shared bathroom and during my three days only had to wait for bathroom access one time, for about a minute.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and reception hours are long (7:00-22:00). The rooms aren't serviced every day, but there's really no need and they're completely upfront about that.

A two-minute walk to the nearest ferry stop, which is then a mere six minutes to Circular Quay (unless you get on a bit early and take a 10 minute mini harbour loop tour round Neutral Bay - and why not?!). Indescribable views across the harbour towards the city and Opera House from under the Bridge on the North shore. Great restaurants and cafes a short 10 minute (very uphill) walk away.

The breakfast (included if you book direct online) is substantial and only lacking in fresh fruit and maybe some more gourmet bread - sourdough, for example. Pretty much what you expect of a buffet / bain-marie service, so not gourmet but definitely adequate for getting through most of the day.

Very safe feel to the area, I had a late night return and felt just fine despite being solo. Of course the PM is a near neighbour so plenty of Feds cruising the streets.

I'll definitely do a repeat visit if I ever get back to Sydney.

This was our third stay at Glenferrie, once again a seamless experience. The staff are wonderful and breakfast was great! Paolo was professional and so very helpful! We will be back again.
