Sonoma Bakery Alexandria

Had gone to pick up some camera gear and found this quiet restaurant.
The famous Australian breakfast- avacado toast and eggs. Plus i also had some baked eggs.
Looks a little on the fancy side but it was good.
Tea was good too.
Friendly people and good service.

We quite like coming here for breakfast. They have great options - on top of what they have in the windows! The coffee is great too. There aren’t too many places to sit but there’s always lots of people coming through for take away which is an easy option if you’re looking for some delicious pastries.

Sonoma, excellent, excellent and excellent. My go to, Quiche Lorraine, Pies and Sausage rolls, coffee I get Mocha that never disappoints!

Staff were nice, food was great and Price is reasonable.

Very chill cafe. Came to get some mince pies as gifts for Christmas and ended up staying for a sneaky sandwich. Delicious steak sandwich, I’d highly recommend.

Great bakery hidden in small street. The toasty and pain au chocolate not only look good but all also tast amazing.
Modern clean feeling inside. Coffee is also nice too

Warm, cozy, great playlist and amazing food. Staff were chirpy and pleasant when I was making my order. Oat latte didn't leave an acidic aftertaste. Big portion of breakfast and almost regret ordering the side of avo because I had a tough time finishing it all. Sourdough toast wasn't dry, but had a nice and chewy texture to it – it was the star of the breakfast. One other thing I absolutely love about this place was the playlist which had jazzy tunes that put me in a good mood! Might be challenging to find this place, but that is what makes this place a 'hidden gem' of sorts :)

Absolutely tasty! best handmade cavatelli pasta i have ever tried. Would of been much more nicer if portion was a litlle larger. Highly recommended to try. The sourdough bread with garlick was a total blast of flavour.

The cheese and ham toastie is EVERYTHING! Oh my gosh, so so so good, best I’ve ever without an doubt. The onion jam is yum. The cold brew coffee is energising, nice shot of caffeine but refreshing. The store is clean, modern, industrial. Staff is super efficient and friendly. Eat in and take away options. Parking in the area is difficult but there is a click and collect service which is great for passing through on the way to work etc.

Had a wonderful time and excellent service at the Sonoma café. The bread for the Reuben sandwich was crunchy and fragrant, really well balanced. The rigani fries from the fish burger were some of the best fries I’ve ever had. The staff were very accommodating to our food specifications with the burger (allergy to avo) and even jazzed up the greens after removing the avo to balance out the burger! But the sour dough donut with creme patisserie was a tad dense and underwhelming

What a find and a great way to soak up last nights fun if you know what I mean. This place sort of reminds me of Tivoli Road Bakery & Baker D.Chirico in Melbourne for the breads and pastries. Had to have a breakfast pit stop before a loaded day around Sydney with fam & friends. Perfect breakfast showcased on their artisan bread washed down with a great coffee. Also got to take some goodies home for later to snack on. Awesome cafe!

There parking was not the best, however the coffee and kouign-amann were brilliant as always. If I had more time I would have samples some of the delicious looking salads.

Sourdough heaven and some epic gear all through out the day.

Service was fantastic. Food was incredible. Ricotta hot cakes were fanTASTIC. Chilli scrambled eggs were astounding - get the side of bacon for an awesome crispy touch. Great coffee too.

Quality everything at this bakery - sweet pastries were perfect, ham and cheese toasty was next level & coffee followed suit. Lovely relaxed ambiance & great service.

My FAVE brekkie spot! I mean everything is freakin delicious. I order miche sourdough slices with vegemite & avo, and it’s devine every time!

Sometimes the service can be a little meh and they seeeeeriously need to do something about the 4G reception, (free wifi pls) but still think it’s a 5 starer. Yum!

The Bacon and egg roll was very good, it was freshly made with a soft runny egg. The bread was fresh and soft, the cheddar was flavoursome.
