Blue Wren Riverside Cottage

This is a beautiful place to stay, we were made to feel right at home by the owner. As a family with children it was a pleasure staying here. they had their own rooms. it was a quiet and safe location close to everything we wanted to do.

What an awesome cottage!! Comfy, beautifully cared for, excellent value, the Tyenna valley and Mt Field on your doorstep.
Across the road to awesome trout fishing and a burbling river. A fly fisherman’s paradise!!

Situated in a fantastic spot. River flowing past opposite and you can hear the lovely sound of the river from the cottage - we sat on the front porch to eat our fish n chips dinner while listening to the river. Cute and comfy space indoors. Also only 10 minute drive away from Russell Falls which are a MUST see - so beautiful. There's also a local berry farm where you can pick your own raspberries, blueberries, strawberries etc. The only thing I would suggest is a sign above the toilet saying watch your step - 2 of us didn't see the raised step up to the toilet and had a trip but no harm done 😊. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Beautiful house with great surrounding. Clean and well stocked with no negative to complaint. Communication was great and met up with the owner on site. Great location to visit the other sites of interest

Cottage is awesome so homely and comfortable definitely worth the stay and Ann is such a lovely and friendly lady

Very poor customer service. Bread was out of date and mouldy. Had to turn off water overnight and self repair leaking tap in bathroom. No replacement bread offered or supplied. Don't stay here.

The boss~old woman is kindness, but no wifi and heater are bad.

Terrible worst place u could stay at - everything is out if date n your host does not even turn up to great u . Stay elsewhere it’s not worth half the money - 6 months on I still can’t get the smell of thaf place out of my nose
