😊 Cute & lovely place with warm staffs. It was more like a wooden cottage on the river side which had fresh atmosphere. And BLT was so good. Brie cheese, turkey, and perfectly toasted sesame bread. Just seating there enjoying my meal made me healed.

🤔 Tiny downside was that my Long black didn't have any crema.

Lovely little cafe at the roadside to start your day. Lady at the counter was nice and cheerful. Yummy croissant, hot chocolate, soup. Bonus point: Amazingly clean washroom.

We made a quick pit stop while travelling between hikes for a much needed sugar hit. The staff were incredibly friendly and we loved the resident doggos. A lovely spot to have a cuppa with a view.

Quaint little cafe with good snack and lunch options.
Scones were light and fluffy, amazing jam and cream and coffee was very nice.
Resident doggy was a hit as was the carrot cake

Sublime food. Taste sensation. Super friendly service. Lovely outlook. Great home made produce to buy.

This was such a gem of a find!
The food was delicious and fresh. Had the Buddha bowl and nachos which both were nice and big servings.
Also had the scones which were amazing! So soft, light and warm and so delicious with jam and cream!!
We sat outside in the nice warm sun with the beautiful view of the fields/hills and little creek.

This quaint little coffee shop has more than meets the eye. Once inside, there is an array of food and coffee to choose from. Then you get to choose whether you will sit inside or on the deck and watch the water in the rivulet flow by. So soothing

Great place, great setting, great food and great staff. Highly recommend dropping in!

The Possum Shed was such an unexpected Morning Tea gem (just before we arrived at Mt Field National Park) that we scooted back from our hike to have Lunch there on the way back to Hobart.

On a cool and wet day the delicious Pumpkin Soup and warm Multigrain Rolls were perfect!

A truly magical setting with warm and incredibly hospitable service from owner Renee and her team…thank you so much!

A very pleasant experience. We enjoyed friendly service, tasty food while sitting outdoors near the river under the shade of some established trees. I also had the joy of seeing the resident platypus.

So lovely to sit overlooking the river having a pot of perfect t2 Earl Grey.
The home made sausage roll was divine. Service was so friendly and welcoming. This place is a credit to the Derwent Valley. Can 100% recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Possum Shed. The Fritarta was the best and my friend's said their pot pie was so tasty. We could not fault the service. The staff were extremely outgoing. I fully recommend a drive to this amazing little Cafe. Keep up the great work.

Super friendly service. The food looked and smelled delicious but we just had the coffee which was excellent. Beautiful set up inside and out, with a lovely creek behind. Lots of ducks and birds for entertainment. Definitely worth a stop. They even had gluten free cake!

Delicious nachos and Fantastic walnut brownie! Homemade food carefully prepared with love by the stuff. Soy chai in the menu!

Food, drinks and service were fantastic. Aussie burger and signature possum shed BLT were amazing and the nachos were brilliant and more than 1 person could handle. Highly recommended if in the area!
