Duffy's Country Accommodation

We’ve just enjoyed our second stay (after 7 years) at Duffy’s in the Berryfields cottage. It’s a very comfortable cottage in a lovely garden setting. Very peaceful. The cottage is well equipped for the independent traveller - the only thing we needed from our own kit was a bread knife. Annette is an excellent host - easy to communicate with and very friendly and helpful.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. The welcome you get from the owners is wonderful. The room is just perfect with the best view. Gardens are wonderful to walk around. The bed was super comfortable. The animals are friendly. Perfect base to stay for a couple of days, which we did to do day trips.

We stayed at Berryfield's Cabin for two nights last week. The place was very clean and well-kept. The utensils, furniture, beddings, and other amenities were clean and of reasonably good quality. The space was adequate for two persons, and the price was reasonable. Check-in and check-out were no-frills and easy. It was one of the best experiences we had during our two-week holiday in Tasmania.

The location is only 12 minutes from Mount Field Visitor Centre, and it can be used as a base to visit Mount Field and the surrounding hiking routes.

If I have to nitpick, the wifi signals were very weak, and the toilet sliding door was slanted and could not close properly.

I hope the host will continue to keep up the good work and maintain the quality. I strongly recommend this place.

Very nice house with everything you need in the middle of the nature. It is less than a 15 minutes car drive to the Russel Falls. The lady is also very nice and helpfull. I would definetly come back and recommend it 100%!

Lovely spot in Westerway near Mt Field NP. Stayed in the Berryfield Cottage and the barbecue grill was fantastic. The room was spacious and had everything we required, the kitchenette was perfectly stocked and everything was very clean. Was definitely one of my best stays ever and hope to return someday!

This was such a wonderful place to stay after 2 nights camping in the Tasman National Park! We were met by the owner, who showed us straight to our cabin. The fittings and decor were absolutely beautiful. There was complimentary port, jam and milk. We had access to a laundry and the farm to walk about, as well as a private BBQ area. The bathroom was wonderful and clean. Bed was lovely and comfortable with nice pillows. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing accomodation! The rangers cabin was comfortable and we really enjoyed it. Close to Mt Field NP. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The beds were comfortable and overall it was a very good experience.

We had a wonderful stay of 3 nights in the rustic charm of the Rangers Cottage. Annette and Desi’s country hospitality is outstanding. We would thoroughly recommend this place to one and all.

The Ranger's Cottage is set in a lovely garden with great views over the valley. The cottage is spacious, clean, comfortable and well provisioned. Small touches throughout make the stay unique and memorable, we wish we'd had more time here.

Enjoyed this lovely cottage at a reasonable price. Clean and a lovely warm log fire awaiting us. Beautiful gardens and country views. Lovely hosts. Would recommend this place to all. Two bedrooms which takes 5 people.

This was one of the best places we stayed in on our holiday. It is convenient as a base to explore the Styx forests and surrounding area. The cottages are beautifully decorated, and the gardens superb. Explore or chill, this is a fantastic choice for the traveler.
