Westerway Road House

We went here today to grab a loaf of bread ,(we are staying at Mount Field National Park)only about a 10minute drive . We bought bread and hot chips. The chips are the best hot chips I have in the two months I've been travelling Tasmania.
The owners served us and service was excellent and they were only too happy to have a chat . I highly recommend supporting this little business .

Do yourself a favour and stop in here. The staff are amazing, the food portions are massive and super tasty! The coffee was great too.

Friendly people. Tassie has the best servos in Australia due to one simple fact. Friendly personable service.

If you are heading to the National Park and haven’t eaten yet. Eat here as food is much better and more reasonably priced.

Stopped here recently on a business trip to get a drink, good selection for a small service station and friendly staff.

Stopped for coffee, which was absolutely excellent, including the decaf, staff lovely and friendly.

We came from Gordondam with a camper and unfortunately we were without diesel, 6 km in front of this pump. The local people, a retired man who brought our daughter to this pump, a local sheep woman (no name unfortunately), who brought our daughter back to the camper, and the neighbor of this pump (also no name but shouted yip yip every time ) who had a jerry can of diesel with him, helped us tremendously. We could continue with our journey, thank you all

Great place! Very convenient stop to fill the tank and have an incredible hamburguer (the biggest I've eber had!!) in a cozy and familiar place. The owners are lovely and very helpful .

We stopped here when our hired motor home ad blue alert came on. The lovely lady was so helpful and they did actually have some ad blue. Very helpful and friendly and gave some great tips for sight seeing on our trip.

Amazing burgers, average seafood basket.

Got a seafood basket from here and it was amazing, seafood was delicious and the homemade salad was very tasty too!
Would recommend for anyone that's passing by to grab a bite. Thanks heaps once again!

Best fish and chips i have had to this day and the service was absolutely amazing could not fault it, they make you feel right at home.

We go there religiously every month with out fail as we have a job about 15 minutes drive past there and go out of our way to go there.

Highly recommend to all. Just beautiful food which you can't put a price on really.

We dropped in for dinner and ordered a 'Waka' burger. Fed 4 of us! When we mentioned my belated birthday, Waka shouted us Ice cream. Brilliant place.

My friend and I pulled up to the roadhouse just as the owners were leaving, but despite the fact it was after closing they turned the fuel pump back on to let us fill up. This was greatly appreciated as the next nearest petrol was over half an hour drive away.

Would definitely come here again. The service was fast, and the food was great. Great place to go to if you are doing a road trip. 10/10.

Stopped for a top up of fuel and chips on the way through to Strathgordon. The kind spirited lady was a pleasure to chat with, the dining room warm by the fire, and the chips are nice and crunchy. Thanks for having us!

Lovely little road house. Make amazing fish and chips. As a Motorcyclist i love the bike theme inside. Absolutely amazing

Brilliant coffee , great fresh take away food service with a smile. Lovely also in winter to come sit by wood heater in warm cosey coffee lounge. Very homely .
