Lovely little van park overlooking the lake. We had a lake view site which was stunning. Nice, friendly staff. Ablutions old but clean, although only 2 showers and 2 toilets which were often being used when needed.

A very clean park, right on the banks of Tinaroo dam. Amenities are clean, with a camp kitchen . Different types of camping available, powered and unpowered with motel accommodation as well.
Managers are friendly and helpful.

This is a fantastic spot to relax and unwind.
Great escape from the hot humid days of northern beaches. Only a short drive to Atherton, or even Cairns. With amazing to go places to see.

What a beautiful, magical place. We stayed one night and had an unpowered site (number 6) right on the lake for 29$. It felt like it was just us there.
Hands down one of the best campings we have been to in Australia - there is such a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere in the park.
Lesley at reception is the loveliest woman, so helpful and friendly.
Grounds were kept really tidy, amenities were spotless and had everything you need.
Truly a hidden gem, can't say enough good things about this place. Only wish we could have stayed a whole week!

We stayed on site 1, an unpowered camp site in our 22ft van. We booked this online however when we arrived the park managers said they did not recommend this site for big vans. I can understand why as there is a slight slope (towards the water). We parked across the site and honestly, I reckon we had the best spot in the park!

Peter & Lesley are amazing caretakers & have certainly improved this park with hard work and kindness. It’s got spacious sites with wonderful views & only a very short drive into Yungaburra village! 💚

I have been enjoying my precious peace and vast private space with the peaceful lake, grass and cool cool breeze quite a lot. All daily facilities are provided on site. Clean and tidy. If I knew this place earlier, I would have moved out from my share house to live here. A wonderful stay experience.

Fantastic few days here. Stayed in a cabin (the days are starting to warm up, and there is no aircon in them - which is the only downside for me personally), but the breeze off the water makes it ok. Very clean rooms and water views. Peter and Lesley were very friendly and welcoming, and helped make our stay relaxing.

Will definitely stay here again.

Such a lovely place to stay! We stayed with our campervan and had a beautiful view on the lake (50m next to it) - the campsite has a pool and a lake to swim in. In Yungaburra itself we saw some platypus and lots of turtles. All over definetly worth a stay!

Very clean rooms with good facilities. Peter & Lesley were exceptional hosts, ensuring that all our needs were met and those of the hundreds of athletes that "took over" the Yungaburra Foreshore for the Yungaburra Triathlon. over the weekend. As the organiser of this event, we could not ask for better support from this local business that contributed to the success of this year's Yungaburra Triathlon. Thank you for your support and help. We will be back.... for a more relaxing weekend where I won't have to be running around as much. :)

I had a really nice stay at this camp! It has a beautiful setting right on the lake and the atmosphere is very relaxed. From check in- the manager was really friendly and welcoming. The price is much cheaper than other camps in the area, and while it was completely full it did not feel crowded at all. All of the facilities were spotless. Really nice touch that there is a fire pit and large projector screen to watch movies at night time.

Just amazing location and facility. We stumbled upon this park and stayed for three nights in a cabin (more like a unit). The new managers were so friendly and helpful (we arrived there after finding our accom we thought we had booked elsewhere was not) - I would HIGHLY recommend this park. Added bonus’s are the amazing sunsets and the beautiful Avenue of Honour across the road. This place is like a hidden gem.

Beautiful sites, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and clean facilities. Tough to go wrong with this caravan park!

We stayed just one night passing by towards Cairns but wish we could have stayed longer. Many sites overlook the lake and the grounds are very nice for a morning walk.

Showers and toilets were recently clean despite a bit of mud from the weather. Guest kitchen is small but has pretty much everyone you need - could maybe use a few more drying cloths, as the ones that were there smelled a bit off.

Had a nice Friday night fire behind the kitchen with a projector - couldn't figure out how to change the channel but we were happy to watch women's rugby for a bit!

Good value overall! Would definitely stay again.

What a lovely caravan park on Lake Tinaroo managed by a lovely couple. We had a relaxing week long stop here with our dogs. Would definitely come back and recommend without any hesitation..

Stayed here one night in campervan, very clean and tidy. Views of the night time stars were beyond amazing. We were very fortunate to be at Lakeside camping ground when there was a blood moon, beyond amazing.
