Serenity at last 😶. QLD NP permits are required to camp here. Suitable sites for all kinds of camping. Shade or sunny spots are available, ample space. This place has it covered. Basic amenities. Cleaned regularly by Ranger service. Road in has a few potholes to be weary of. Overall fantastic spot.

Nice and quiet through the week, but it gets extremely busy on the weekends. Although when booking, you can't book particular sites (the sites aren't numbered) there are still lovely designated camping spots that each have their own fire ring (first in best dressed).
We camped right down the end, and had awesome water views (we could launch our boat right from our camp-site, it was very handy).
The toilet blocks (there are 2 toilet blocks on opposite ends of the camp ground, each containing several toilets each, as well as disabled toilet access) were actually reasonably tidy, and were supplied with sufficient toilet paper (they are flushing toilets, not drop toilets, so there was no awful smell thank goodness).
There is at least one shower room available (there may be one adjacent to the other toilet block too) but you must have your own shower, and water supply.
Overall Downfall Creek Campground is a nice & relaxing place to camp.
As it is a national park, you must book in before you go, on their website.
PS: I didn't have reception on the road going into the Campground, but as soon as we chose our camp-site by the water, I could get reception for both Telstra and Optus (calls, texts, and data) which was a bonus for me.

Plenty of room for camping on grass and designated areas for camper trailers/caravans. Easy access for boats and jet skis

What a beautiful spot. The facilities were clean and well spread out. March flies were a bit of a bummer but hey that's part of camping. Only caught cat fish but we didn't put too much effort into fishing either haha. Created great memories for the books.

Best place I've ever camped. Very cheap to stay. Only amenities are toilets and a shower bag room. So peaceful and quiet. Great views. Only downside is too many glamper vans. But would definitely stay again. Didn't want to leave.

Beautiful camp ground on the edge of lake Tinaroo. Well maintained and quiet. Fire pits, flushing toilets. Shower room but need to take your own camp shower to hang on the hook.

Good camping ground. Nice quiet area. Very spaced out. Was able to fit quite a few families in the one campsite. Enough room for the kids to run around

Always a beautiful place to spend some time. Clean amenities, great camp sites and can have a campfire, and all overlooking the lake.

Great camping area on Tinaroo Lake. Also big enough spots for caravans. Water views, rainforest walks, flushing toilets, very cheap. Definitely recommend.

I will go here again. It's great for the kids and plenty of space for large families and it's not too difficult for the nana and grand nana to get to the tpilet or down to the water.
