It was pouring with rain the day we had booked a tour and apple picking here! But Daniel still gave us a talk on the process of the apples from planting to delivering to the shops, very interesting! We were asked if we were happy to still pick apples in the rain or have a refund.The answer was yes still pick apples... it adds to the experience! Laura proceeded to take us picking. It was so much fun! Would recommend a visit...support the farmers!

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Nicolette Orchards to pick apples recently with my family. My son absolutely loved the fresh apples! Some of the nicest apples I have ever eaten! So sweet and crunchy. It is a little expensive if you were to regularly visit as it was $16.50 per adult plus the cost of the apples. However as a visitor, it was one of the highlights of our trip, so we thought it was worth it for the experience and fresh produce. We hope to come back again soon!

I worked as employee in apple forms nearly for 5 years. So, by using my experience I will try to help some people. Some of the farms are charging money for PYO apples and few of the others farms won’t charge anything. The reason is simple they are allowing to pick apples and others are not. Some people thought they charged huge. If you want to know the reason go and visit the farm after everyone left. In an apple tree they have next years buds as well. Most of the people when they trying pick apple they are ripping the buds as well. Because of that reason farmer won’t get apple on next year. One more reason is because food safety rules farmer can’t collect the apples on ground which was dropped by visitors. Because of this reason farmers are loosing apples. Once you visit the farm when everyone left then you can see 100’s of ripped branches and nearly 70-80kgs of apples on ground. One more thing is farmers are charging very less when compared to the super markets and Woolworths and cooled etc. In my opinion buying apples in farm is best. I am going to tell you about khanzi apple. In most of the places you can’t see khanzi apple. In markets as well if you see a khanzi apple for sure they will charge you more than 6$. The reason is simple khanzi was one of the best expensive apple and majority of the people like that apple, that’s why they sell with high price. In farm you are getting for 4$. The best thing about Khanzi never loose his crunchy level for at least 6-7 weeks if you put them in refrigerator. So, you have a best chance to get more number of apples with less price. Never judge a book my seeing his front page. Just try to research everything and then come to conclusions. I don’t have space here otherwise I wanna explain lot more. So don’t think in negative way and support farmers

Highly recommend for everyone! The farm is beautiful and the owner and staff are so kind and accomodating . The apple is so crunchy and so sweet and juicy . Best tasting apples in Queensland! We’ve enjoyed the Pink Lady variety which were sweet, crunchy and super fresh. Will have to plan a trip to their orchard soon!
