Stanthorpe Visitor Information Centre

Gentlemen Glen & ladie (forget her name) both are star 🌟 of this information centre we very polite & so much helpful as we came here for Apple festival. Both explained very well with details of step by step to go places around Stanthorpe. Yes thank you for duck food for feeding ducks our kids enjoyed a lots with ducks at river & sharing grapes 🍇 too

Beautiful place tonait down with the kids have a picnic and be able to see the wildlife swim around and be them selfs. Town looked clean and people looked well manned and respectful towards outsiders. Definitely would use this place for a wedding reception or just a day out with the family. Such a beautiful spot

If you're looking for friendly, local knowledge and advice on what to see and do around Stanthorpe and the surroundingarea, you'd be hard pressed to find nicer, more helpful service anywhere.

And... if you're travelling with your fur baby, don't worry, they're very welcome and may be treated like royalty too.

Glen was Very helpful and knowledgeable about fossicking and gold hunting around the whole area, great parking, beautiful gardens and opportunities to feed wood ducks.

The volunteer was a huge help in giving us idea of things to do in Stanthorpe. With maps and brochures it helped make our visit as good as it was. Located right next to the park with the giant thermometer.

Really nice, no complaints. You can fish the lake! Nice area for the family and kids to run around. Snacks, drinks and clean facilities. Friendly volounteers. My little one didnt want to leave, restful stop and not bad coffee.

Very glad to have stopped here and popped in for some local information.....two very awesome gents were very helpful, informative and kind, thank you and look forward to touring around while here. Already very much enjoyed some delicious apple pie and great coffee too.

A beautiful and peaceful place to sit and read my book with a coffee. Always a friendly wave and hello. My favourite spot.

We asked for places to visit while staying in Stanthorpe and the lady who spoke to us was very helpful. She gave us some brochures including maps of the surrounding areas which was very helpful when locating wineries etc.

Great service, very knowledgeable about the area & willing to answer questions & give ideas. Much appreciated.

Place near park where you can enjoy view of lake with many duck there and there is granite belt thermometer that famous in Stantorphe. At the park there is BBQ place for public.

I stopped in just a few minutes before closing, hoping to grab a few brochures quickly. The staff here were so helpful, informative, and friendly. I really appreciated it!

Very friendly and welcoming. Certainly know their stuff. Gave us the information we were after without to much selling of sites or places we weren't interested in. Keep up the fantastic service. Well done. 😊

One feedback: The famous corktree leaves have blotches + seem to be diseased. PLEASE look after them!

Wanted details of the on-road (quiet roads) bike ride Stanthorpe to Ballandean.

I was given the maps and details quickly and clearly, ALSO details of the historic train trips available.

A really ''switched on' Info Centre.

One of the best tourist information centres we have ever been to!!! Glenn was friendly and knowledgeable on Stanthorpe and the surrounding region and gave us some great locations to check out. Other centres simply gave us a map or brochure. Glenn is a great asset to the centre and we would highly recommend popping in.
