Anna's Restaurant

First time in stanthorpe and we were told Anna's was a must, So yes book early and Highly recommend Anna's, the decor, ambience are all to be expected of family Italian restaurant, but the flavours are "close your eyes and go to heaven " from the chef's speciality stuffed mushrooms, the spaghetti marinara , tiramisu, home made gelato, piccolo, sambuca, the flavours are sensational, the staff including tina and sarah made our evening most memorable, can highly recommend 😀

It was a very pleasant evening that we would be happy to repeat. Service was prompt and polite, Pricing is fair and food quality excellent. Portion size should satisfy the heartiest appetite, and they will supply takeaway containers if you get defeated.

We dined in last Friday. If you're looking for delightfully awesome portion sizes, that taste delicious and at a great price, you need to go to Anna's Restaurant in Stanthorpe!! The service staff were lovely, the atmosphere and Restaurant was so welcoming and the food was so yummy!! We ordered 2 entrees (forgot to take pics, it was eaten to quickly) to share between 4 of us and our mains were mouth-watering! Definitely 100% recommend Anna's and can't wait to go back!!

Excellent meal. When we return to Stanthorpe will book again. Great service, ambience, quality, value. Portions huge. I had an entree ricotta and spinach cannelloni. Delicious and ample.

We loved our dinner here on Saturday night! The food and service was impeccable. We started by sharing the stuffed mushrooms. Then came the meat filled cannelloni and the masala chicken with vegetables. The chicken meal was big and I couldn't eat it all but the creamy masala sauce was delicious! After a little while we indulged in dessert. I had the cassata which was incredible and my dinner companion had the homemade mango icecream. Both were delicious! The bottle of local Shiraz from Symphony Hill winery was so incredible we visited the next day and bought some to take home. We will be back and can heartily recommend a meal here 😋😋

First time here and we both really enjoyed the carbonara. Topped off with a nice glass of wine from one of the local wineries it made for an enjoyable dinner.

If you ever craving for an Italian cuisine when you are in Stanthorpe. Anna's restaurant is a must to visit. A grandma home atmosphere when you walking in the restaurant. The service is great. The food is a typical mama's cooking (homie) 😋 and big serving portion size. You will leave with no hunger feeling after 😂 haha. A place that I would definitely come back to have a nice pasta night.

Great takeaway!!
We visited Stanthorpe in November 2021 and to our disappointment Anna was only open for takeaway. Undeterred, we ordered takeaway meals for our group of four and it was terrific. The food was great and the portions were very generous. We loved our pastas and the crumbed Dory in almond sauce was excellent and enough to feed two people. We look forward to returning to Anna's for the dine in experience!!

Anna's is a Stanthorpe institution - fantastic home style Italian food in a beautiful old Queenslander home!! Every time we go to Stanthorpe we go to Anna's. It's a family run business and you feel like you're eating at Nonna's house. We love the antipasti, stuffed mushrooms in creamy sauce, the mussels, the veal, the cannelloni, the gnocchi and the smallgoods. Be sure to leave room for dessert - the tiramisu and cannoli are delicious. We're generally not fans of the buffet/smorgasbord thing - but Anna's does a great job at producing excellent food and it's really great value too. Make sure you book - it's so busy on Friday and Saturday nights!

Located in an old house in Stanthorpe. The staff were very welcoming & busy. Obviously a popular place. When you taste the food you realize what a gem this restaurant is. The food was delicious & plentiful. We left with full bellies, the last ones to leave but no ushering us out until we were ready.

Came here on a Thursday night without a booking. Place was really busy but we were seated without being made to feel stupid for not making a booking, which was appreciated. Lots of options on the menu. Portion sizes were huge. Loved the atmosphere being in a queenslander house. Warm and cosy. I would definitely come again.

Great food and atmosphere. Incredible dishes that are so large in size, it fed us the next day - great value for money Wibe selection was also wonderful.

Some of the waiters looked like they didn't want to be there and weren't very helpful, which was the only downside.

One of the most incredible Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The food is so authentic and beautiful. I will definitely be coming back here when the opportunity arises.

A hidden gem, food was great a great value for your for money, you got to go there

Yummy, hearty, Italian food. We had the cannelloni, kids spag bol and duckling main + entrees of stuffed mushrooms and calamari. All were delicious and generous servings. The highlight was definitely the duckling - crispy duck full of wine flavour, perfectly crispy potatoes and generous serving of broccolini. Would definitely go back again.

Amazing meal, great staff. Next time we visit Stanthorpe, we'll be coming back.

delicious food and great service! food arrived very quickly considering how many people where there. the meals are absolutely massive though so i’d recommend only getting one course. they also have takeaway containers if you need them.

Anna's is an amazing local institution in Stanthorpe. The food is always sublime, real authentic Italian cuisine. So yourself a favour and book a visit here for dinner soon.

Anna's Restaurant seems to be run out of a premises that was once a suburban home, so has a more welcoming feel and character than restaurants in retail precincts. The food was delicious, authentic, and the portions were generous. Friendly staff. I would suggest that you reserve a table as they cannot always accommodate walk-ins.
