Decker Park

It was a full frontal wind and high tide experience today. We didn't bother even with photos. Instead we watched the wave riders battling and winning amazing rides. This Park was new to us. There were many groups, families and fishing enthusiasts all doing their thing. Isn't that the best weekend?

Good picnic areas, BBQ facilities, dog park, walking trails, restrooms, play ground and lots to do with the family. Wheelchair access, take walks along the shoreline.

Decker Park has a large range of facilities that cater to anyone’s needs.

With large covered seating areas the park is ideal for small to large party venue.

Overlooking the Brighton beach view with a guided pathway for all to share along the boardwalk which has access to the beach, and ample parking;

A pretty spot with good parking and a really nice, wide path for a walk/jog/run/ride. Good place to take the dog for a walk and the little “beaches” are cute.

What a beautiful and peaceful. We stopped here for a short rest after cycling down from Woody Point. The attached photos speak for themselves, even though the day was windswept and overcast.

Great location any time of the day but early morning to watch the sunrise is my favourite time. Also a great park for all ages with good parking.

Beautiful and serene playground(s) on the water front. Nice and cool with breezes and plenty of shade. Clean(ish) toilet facilities and bbqs.. very safe. New fav!!

An ideal spot for small family gatherings & dog walks by the sea. Well kept & convenient location. Bring your jacket after 3pm as the sea breezes get a little cool & balmy.

Great little ocean escape, there's beach front walks, low tide strolls, outdoor gym equipment, kiss play grounds, and at low tide, you can walk your dog kms out from shore.

Lots of space, there's an 'off-leash' area for dogs, covered-picnic-tables, bbq's, a great walk & cycle-way, a shallow & safe beach for the toddlers, & when the breeze comes in its fantastic for kites & kite-Surfers alike...5\5

Took my dog to see water and sand fir the first time and he loved it!!! Awesome walking and bike paths good morning out

Great place to take family and kids. Lovely view right of waterfront. The playground is very nice, and the kids like it.

Underrated Gem: unless you go looking for it you will probably miss it. But it has everything a good playground should. Accessibility. Multiple swings. Four stable slides. All age play! Taken full advantage of the natural sand for learning. There’s even a pulley system! Great development opportunity.

It's got everything you need: an enclosed off leash dog area with lots of agility type things to play on, a good sized playground, a toilet and the beach! A traveling library seems to frequent as well.

Enjoyable park with a playground, toilets and beach access. Great to run dogs on at low tide. Lovely fully fenced dog park.

At low tide you even get a sandy beach

This is a great sized park with basketball court, clean toilets and a shirt walk to the waterfront.

This is my dog’s favourite dog park. There’s always friendly dogs there he loves to play with. Also the park it’s self is beautiful!

Beautiful area, I love seeing people enjoy their events there but please if you bring balloons and decorations clean up after yourself! I spend my walks at Decker Park picking up trash steps away from bins and it breaks my heart. Respect your environment please, if you decide to have events here.
