The Butchery Canungra

Visited on a Saturday was met with a warm friendly welcome. A traditional smokehouse smell met me and I knew I’d come to the right place! The lady who served me was friendly and engaging. The range was impressive for the size of the shop and the quality all appeared to be very good!

Walked in right before close on Saturday and received lovely warm, experienced service despite it being cold and late, walked out with one of the best rib fillets I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. I cooked it so will take some of the credit ;) but my guests were raving , the flavour and quality of this beef is outstanding! I will definitely be making the drive from pacific pines for my meat from now on thanks for making me look good! And thanks for your patience getting the right cut for me :) see you soon!

Great butcher using local products without additives. Very clean with good pricing. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall a good impression. 👍👍

Awesome little butcher shop with a great range and the best T bone steaks I've ever tasted. The lamb roasts are also excellent and they also stock a wide range of sauces and condiments to go with your selection. Highly recommend.

Friendly and very clean. We bought the rissoles which were 250g each and we just like your homemade ones. Usually bought rissoles have a lot of fat, we did ours on the BBQ mat and it had no fat on it. Thank you.

We are new residents to the area, we love the old country town feel and the people are so welcoming. The Butchery is truly amazing, the presentation of the fresh meat the cleanliness of the whole facility, and the meat WOW truly amazing, you have won me :)

Love love this butcher. From the moment you walk in and get a hit if the incredible in-house smoked jam and bacon. To good old fashioned service. We left with an incredible piece of rump, smoked ham and bacon. Now planning anther trip down to Canungra for a restock.

So friendly, needed a smaller cut if meat due to having a small family and was happy to cut down for us
Also, the meat was the best I've had in a long time i have now found my regular butcher !

Hands down this is the best butcher around.
The meat is always fresh and delicious👌
And the bacon is to die for!! They smoke it in house so as soon as you walk in you get hungry from the smokey aromas.
Oh and of course the owner is a legend😁

An excellent old-style butcher shop. The sign says the bacon cures hangovers. We have extensively tested this claim and it does seem to :) Once you've had dry cured, smoked bacon you can't go back tot he slimy packet stuff.

Purchased our products and we are super satisfied thanks Jo the sausages are amazing and from our sausages maker she said there great we will be back for and highly recommend the store and staff

Whilst in Canungra you must stop in at The Butchery, the smell of home smoked bacon reaches out and drags you in by the nostrils as soon as you crack the front door, ohhh smokey bacon - mmm deliciousness 😉 they also have other nice looking meat and sausages and the country style rissole was gigantic ad tasty 👍🏼

If you like bacon this is the place to get it. They cure and smoke their own and it is beyond words amazing! Incredible flavour. Love love love it!!!

Visited this store twice of late and have been shocked by how overpriced everything is on both visits. Prices are not displayed for many items. Did not feel welcome in the store despite being the only customer present
