Flutterbys Childcare

Our son attended this centre for the last 18 months of his time in daycare/kindy. They were brilliant. It’s a beautiful centre and the staff were great. He started there after a terrible experience at a different centre and within a couple of weeks at Flutterbys he was a completely different child. He loved it and was confident and happy.
We have now finished up as our son is starting school, but we are going to really miss them! We’ve always felt welcomed, no question or concern was left unanswered and our son has had a great experience at the centre. I would certainly recommend Flutterbys to anybody in the area looking for a daycare/kindy!

I wouldn't pay any attention to the negative reviews. This centre is the best centre I have ever come across. I moved my children here after being unhappy with another local centre. Staff retention is fabulous, my kids have had the same educators from day one. The care and attention they show to all three of my children has been amazing and they go above and beyond to provide for all abilities. You get the care and compassion from this family owned centre that you just don't get from chains. I would never send my kids anywhere else!! Thanks flutterbys.

I have sent 2 of my 3 children to Flutterbys, and honestly couldn't ask for a better childcare. The quality of care my children have received is absolutely outstanding!

The staff are all so kind, compassionate and caring, and are very attentive to details and respectful of parents wishes, wants and needs. the management team has been nothing but helpful and understanding of all my questions and concerns. They are all reassuring and have no problem accommodating each families individual needs.

I wouldn't dream of sending my children anywhere else and have recommended this centre to all of my expecting friends, I couldn't recommend this centre more!

I am absolutely thrilled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience with this extraordinary kindergarten. Starting from the warm welcome by the friendly office team led by the very competent and efficient Ms. Debora, to the vibrant and developmental teaching system, this kindergarten stands head and shoulders above the rest.

The teaching team, under the guidance of the fantastic Miss June, is truly exceptional. They are not just educators, but developers of young minds, instilling curiosity and a love for learning in each student. Their ability to adapt their teaching techniques to cater to the diverse needs of all children is commendable.

The kindergarten is also impressively well-organised with thoughtfully designed spaces that are conducive to learning. The infrastructure is more than adequate, with up-to-date equipment and tools to support educational purposes. The team has clearly put a lot of thought into creating an environment that enhances the learning experience for every child.

What sets this kindergarten apart even further is their resilience. Despite experiencing the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic, such as a lack of resources and community lockdowns, the kindergarten not only endured but thrived. I've enrolled my daughter at Flutterbys from the day the doors opened and I have been amazed by the love and care they gave to my daughter.

All the staff are very helpful, happy and always understanding. The management team greet you with a warm smile and a friendly hello.

The room staff are always there for a friendly chat and actually take the time to listen to any concerns that I've had regarding development and milestones.

I can't stop raving to all my friends on how amazing this place is!

My son is just over two years old and has been attending since he was just over 4 months old full time and we could not be happier with his care. The educators are amazing and communication about his progress is fantastic. I highly recommend and wouldn’t choose to send my son anywhere else!

We are amazed by the quality of childcare at Flutterbys. The staff are patient, kind and professional. They are always welcoming with friendly smiles and a lovely chat to see how you and your child are. They are always willing to lend a hand to help me take my kids to and from the car when my hands are full.

My girls have bonded beautifully with their educators and we are always kept up to date with how they our whether they are having a bad day or a good day we are always notified and kept in the loop.

The educators are very supportive in supporting the needs of each and every child they teach. From learning auslan and supporting children with developmental needs they are always willing to help families adjusts and keep routines. My girls have been doing amazing and are well supported in helping with their glasses which isn’t easy for 19 month old toddlers but their educators are persistent I aiding them in keeping their glasses on.

The facility is fantastic plenty of shade, room sizes are the largest I have seen in our local area.

Flutterbys is definitely worthy of your consideration if you’re looking for a great daycare.

My two daughters have attended the childcare for a couple of months now and we love the new state of the art centre. The educators are friendly and really care for each child and assist all in developing and growing preparing them for their next steps for school.

Best choice I ever made was to pick this lovely childcare! Both my children have hearing loss and they require hearing aids. The staff are so supportive with it and are even learning auslan! Such reliable and friendly staff and I receive photos every day which I am so grateful for. Highly recommend 🤩

Could book a tour easily – the staff are so friendly and helpful. On inspection of this Kindy, I found the biggest under roof outside play area I have ever seen. The little ones can play outside rain or shine. The building is beautifully designed and has clean calm feel about it. Pick ups and Drop Offs, parking is ample. – love that, hate to jostle for parking if I need to get a wiggle on. This is a brand-new kindy, and it has a lovely feel to it, I was specifically looking into the baby’s section and in my opinion if you are looking for a kindy with great facilities, has good educators and friendly staff, this one tick all the boxes.

This centre is everything we’ve been looking for. The staff are such wonderful people and always welcoming and kind. My son absolutely LOVES Flutterbys.

The staff are wonderful here and they take great care of our little one! The facilities are nice, new and clean also.

Lack of empathy and understanding from the manager towards parental concerns was a common issue. A supportive and compassionate environment where parents feel heard is crucial in a childcare facility. Additionally, addressing the problem of dishonesty in the management is important. Parents expect honesty and transparency from childcare providers. Improvement needed for better parent experience.

My son had brain injury in the centre, and he then suffered from migraines, vomit, and vision issues. The centre asked my 4 years old son to prove when and where happened exactly. How can a 4 year old know the time and read clock? I thought the centre should be a kid expert. But it's just a cold blood money hunger. I dont expect love, but where is the professional care?

From my experience I found this day care centre to be quite incompetent of their levels of due care to the children.
And vague lack of communication from staff to parent experience to be quite substandard and beyond the level of human decency.

Been on their waitlist once, never toured or signed up. Keep getting emails with statements or requesting to link our account in the childcare app. Contacted them and got told they can do nothing about it. Pretty poor. I don’t get emails from other centers like that.

Terrible terrible centre. Every payment is not clear. When you required leave. They recharged more money. Do not send your children here there are plenty of other centers around that are far better.

Bad news. Don’t do it. A very long winded disappointment to then have the issues turned onto the victim. Shame on you.
