Best shoe shop I have known! I am outside the standard sizing, I have never been able to buy shoes to fit properly, until I came to Ricardo’s shoes, now I have very comfy feet. Thanks to all the lovely sales ladies !

Love these shoes!
Being a size 12, I have always struggled to find shoes that fit me.
I used to wear cheap thongs everywhere because they were open and didn't hurt but ultimately were doing damage to my feet on the daily.
I have very high arches and narrow feet and developed leg and back pain as a result.
After buying 2 pairs of Ricardo's shoes - one for work and one for casual wear - my leg and back pain reduced by 90%!!
I love them and wear them everywhere.
I will only wear thongs where they belong now...at the beach.
100% highly recommend.

I recommended for my auntie to go to Ricardo’s shoes shop in Aspley, as she needed to buy some orthotics shoes, she was so impressed with the service and the knowledge of the the sales assistant Karen who served her, she went out of her way to make sure she got the right fit for her. so thank you will highly recommend this store to everybody.

A big thank you to the sales assistant Karen at the Asply store,on my way to a funeral when I had a blow out in my shoe, she had me fitted and in a new pair of shoes and on my way in no time,and I made it to the funeral in time, the shoes are great and very comfy.

A favourite shoe store of mine - always well presented and lovely stock. Staff have lots of knowledge too for the styles that would suit me and even introducing to styles that I didn’t notice. Very helpful

2nd January 2022, i entered the store as it was still opened the sales attendant Wendy was not happy to be there. I tried a pair of shoes on from the sales table & then found some other full priced shoes to try on in different sizes. She then argued with me about the size i tried on. I did buy the shoes on sale as i didnt want to miss out on getting them. I left the other 2 pairs because of her horrible attitude. I asked if the store was opened the following day & was told No as it was a public holiday & then she proceeded witb AND we weren't meant to be opened today but we were told we had to. As a customer i did not need to know this & felt bad for being there.
I held off leaving Brisbane so i could go back to the store on Tuesday & got the best attention & service from a lady called Karen ( i realized i have dealt with her previously) & purchased 2 more pairs of shoes. I love your store but will always phone ahead tk make sure Karen is there to serve me

Very good local shoe shop at our local shopping centre.

Salesperson did not welcome us. There were only 3 customers including me and my wife. We have to approach her as we are looking for a new pair of shoes.

Because my foot shape has changed, I needed to replace all my shoes.
I went to Ricardos Shoes because I wanted leather shoes and I like to support local business.
I purchased 4 pairs of shoes that day, and was assured that they were all good quality and leather.

Imagine my surprise when I went to wear the boots two days later and the zip would not lock - and one of the pairs of shoes turned out to be synthetic (I had told the salesperson I could not wear synthetic shoes).

I returned to Ricardos that same week to organise a replacement for the faulty boot and to exchange the synthetic shoes for leather shoes.

The salesperson that day would do neither and told me to return another day.
I did return numerous times as well as phoned the store to work out what to do.
Finally today, the issue was resolved after months have passed.

Given the price of the boots, it should not have been a problem to replace the faulty boot when I had only worn it from the house to the car.
Given the reputation of the store, I should have not been sold a synthetic pair of lace-up shoes as leather, and it should have been easy to exchange them for a more expensive leather pair that same week.

Yes, I probably should have checked what the shoes were made of but I believed the honesty of the salesperson. I will never make that mistake again.

Although the situation is now resolved, it was most distressing today with the salesperson questioning my integrity and honesty, and in the end not wanting to serve me.

To be clear, I’m usually very easy to get along with and this is in fact the first bad review I have ever written.
I offered to talk to the boss/owner to explain the context of what had happened and the staff involved so that he was aware. That was refused.

Ricardos has unfortunately lost a long term customer who was going to purchase several more pairs of shoes in the coming months.
I'm so disappointed.
