Yum Yum Peking Duck

We absolutely love Yum Yum for their roast duck and classic Chinese dishes. We've been coming here for awhile now, and have been meaning to write a review so have saved up quite a few photos from our visits here. We always get their half roasted duck - it's a huge serving size and can easily feed 2-4 people. Some of our other go-tos (highly recommend!) include: salt and pepper quail, pork ribs in Peking sauce, shredded beef in Peking sauce, stir-fried seasonal veggies in garlic, fried sole fish, and the deep fried ice cream. We've also ordered take-away duck and pork ribs (pictured here also), the servings were so generous.

We love coming here with a bottle of vino for a cosy and intimate dinner with quality Chinese food and roast duck. We've never been disappointed with the quality or service 😊

But what I really love about this mom-and-pop style restaurant is the thoughtful service. We once ordered pork ribs in peking sauce to take-away over the phone and was running a bit late to pick it up, so the owner made sure the kitchen only cooked it when we were closer on arrival to keep the dish as fresh as possible. She insisted that it will taste better this way, which I really appreciated. You can tell they care about their food and customers.

I can’t believe after coming here thousands of times, I still haven’t reviewed this place! Nestled in the heart of Darra, this restaurant is known by name mostly by word of mouth! It serves the best Peking duck in Brisbane and has for years. Owned and run by a lovely couple and their family, they give a warm family friendly vibe with delicious Viet/Chinese cuisines. A must try on my list of best Brisbane eats for sure 🥂.

Don't let the outside of the building fool you. This place is a diamond in the rough. Food was amazing, service was on point! Will definitely be back again!

The fried beef in Peking sauce was to die for.... even your sweet and sour pork was a step above anything i have had in the past. My boy loved your fried rice.

Small place but clean and friendly . the food is fresh and well served .
The peking duck is nice and crispy . Last time we've had Singapore noodle and Mongolian lamb on hot plate , it was delicious and we could hardly finish our plate . We'll certainly go back there again .. This was our second time . Recommended .

We love this place, I consider it to be the best Peking duck restaurant, steam Oysters was delicious, duck pan cake beautiful and the fried rice amazing. This place never disappoints and the staff always friendly and you can BYO wine which is a bonus. Book is essential due to the restaurant popularity and small space.

Best Peking Duck in Brisbane. Everything else on the menu is great too. Lovely people, fantastic service, always look forward to eating here.

Don't usually write reviews however I am now a big fan of this joint. I have been twice now and both times I got the Peking duck and it was fantastic (and great value).
The two course is plenty for two people but I can see how it would also be able to feed three.
The three course is definitely too much for two people (would suit 3-4 perfectly).

By far the BEST peking duck you will ever eat! Whether you get two courses or three the duck pancakes served first have the most crispy skin you can imagine. We have been customers since the early 2000's and can't stop going back for more. The menu is not limited to duck and you can be assured that everything is delicious. Great service and quality authentic food at great prices!

We took the Peking duck combo with duck skin(no meat) pancakes followed by the chowmein packed with duck meat. Both dishes were amazing and it was definitely enough for 2. The owners were patient and even let us take the duck carcase. Would definitely recommend

Unbeatable taste, value and quality.
We opted for the speciality of the house - the 2-course duck - which is enough for 3-4 people. Our group of 6 people chose a 2-course with duck pancakes & duck chow mein and 2-course with duck pancakes & duck Sang Choi Bow (lettuce cups). The duck pancakes were outstanding, and I would come back for these alone. Our other courses were top notch - hot, fresh, and so delicious. I suggest rounding up a group of people for your next visit, so you can try more great dishes! Our visit was in October 2021.

Delicious and authentic Pekin duck pancakes combo with Pekin duck chow mein. The portions were good, prices very reasonable and service amazing, would definitely recommend, it's worth the drive!
