ANZ Branch Surfers Paradise

Very convenient and always helpful staff but Setsoku the Japanese is among the BEST and such a lovely lady. She still remember me and my partner when we first opened our joint back account way back in 2017 at ANZ Southport branch. She's very welcoming, always more than 5 stars service from her, such a very genuine person and really excellent customer service. We're really happy to see her again. 😊 Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Idk why this branch has such a low rating, it made me really scared to come here.

But I made an appointment to open up an account and was able to make it the same day by phone. Cherry was really nice and loved her customer service and energy. She was really patient with me when I asked a lot of questions and helped me out. I’m not from this country so this mean’t a lot.

Don’t always depend on reviews guys and make sure to just make an appointment before hand and ask what you need before, that’s all :)

I just arrived here and my English is not well. I got the best service from Rebecca who is so nice, helpful and suggest me the best. She try to explain anything to me until I understood. I am lucky to get service from her.

We are new to Gold Coast opening accounts for four of us, international transfer etc, we were lucky to be served by Stephanie she is a total 🌟 star , kind empathic, professional made a whole process a total breeze. Huge thank you to her from family Avdovic

Lady said she was ordering me a new card 1 month ago, gave it plenty of time to arrive before I go overseas, never came. I called ANZ and she never did it. Now I have to wait ANOTHER 5 TO 10 BDAYS. I'm not sure if I'll get it before I leave. Very very annoying. Do you job.

The Asian lady on the other hand is super nice. She id give 5 star.

I arrived at 12:30pm, waited a while since no one even looked up when I entered only to be told you can't take cash from your ANZ BANK ACCOUNT until 2PM - THEY'RE A BANK!!!!

They have ATMs? Well whoppie doo - an ATM can't give uneven amounts of money so an ATM is useless for me.

You deserve better. Go elsewhere.

Went in to transfer our accounts from brisbane and open term deposits no one in there but offhand young man said needed appt attitude to both my husband and myself was disgusting . Felt he didn’t want to be there and certainly didn’t want to deal with us.
Will open account elsewhere.
Would love to hear an apology from the bank but I guess we won’t.

My son and I went there to make an account for my son. The women consultant was terribly rude, very aggressively asked my son this and that, my son is young (minor),not good at english,does not know much about banking stuff, he definately needed adult's help. I was there, so the woman could talk to us so that I can explain to my son,but she just ignored me, continuosly asked asked my young son this and that. My son told her he does not understand well, and the lady angrily said if he does not understand, she cannot open an account for him. My son got hurt , cried. We could not make his account finally. Very surprising that kind of bad manner person is working in the bank like ANZ, in surfers paradise branch where I believe many foreigners use. We got very bad impression from her rude, impolite attitude. I just hope my son did not get hurt too much from this.

I’ve been thinking with the Anz, for a long time. I decided it was time to buy an investment property. so I made an appointment 2 1/2 weeks ago to go to the bank on the third of next month. got a phone call today I’ve got a meeting can we reschedule or do a phone appointment don’t waste your time with surfers Paradise Anz.

Utterly useless, looks ready to close anyway. They can't even process transactions now. I'm changing banks after today. "Avoid".
