Dr Gerald Yeo Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon

I would highly recommend Dr Yeo for any foot or ankle surgery.
I was visiting Brisbane last Xmas and unfortunately broke my ankle and injured my syndesmosis as well, after a bad fall down steps.
It was very stressful for me as my ankle needed surgery and doubly stressful being interstate on Boxing Day. I had such luck having Dr Yeo as my surgeon, just before he went on holiday .
He put me at ease from the first moment and explained the procedure very clearly.
In all I had a very positive experience; my scar looks great and he has followed me up three times via Telehealth as I’m in Sydney.
I agree he has a great sense of humour which helps put the patient at ease.
I never felt hurried or not listened to, and I am considering potential further surgery for a different issue in the future.
Again I would highly recommend this very kind surgeon.

Dr Yeo's brilliant surgery fixed the bunions on both my feet. I had problems with my feet for years but now I can walk properly and my feet look great. Wonderful.

I can't recommend Dr. Yeo and his surgical team enough! They were so amazing. Dr. Yeo explained my injury, and the options available to me in a way that was easily understood, which really put me at ease. Plus, he has a great sense of humor, which made the whole experience less stressful. The entire team was so patient with my questions and really took the time to make sure I felt comfortable. I got scheduled for surgery really quickly, just a few weeks after my soccer injury (had ankle stabilisation surgery for syndesmosis, G3 AITFL, G3 ATFL and partial PTFL tears). Going into my first surgery, I was nervous, but the whole team made me feel supported the whole way through. Going under and waking up from surgery was a breeze with no yucky after effects. Dr. Yeo's surgical skills are absolutely outstanding. The incision is so neat and tidy, only felt slight pain for 1 day in the first week. 2 weeks post op and I’m still completely pain free and recovering well, thanks to their dedication and care.

Dr Yeo is someone that you have to get use to. He is straight forward and does not in any way tell you things only because that is what you want to hear. He is brutally honest and a great surgeon.

Dr Yeo was really clear and informative but also reassuring. The outcome of the surgery has changed my life and looking forward to being able to get back into normal activity. Dr Yeo had a terrific team support him on the surgery day and his after care was genuine.

Dr Yeo is an exceptional surgeon and goes out of his way to ensure you understand every procedure, as well as making sure you are happy with the result. First appointment with Dr Yeo today for my achilles tendon he gave me the best news as I dont need surgery just a moonboot with a wedge inside for 8 weeks which I can live with as a full-time carer for my wife I can still look after her. I had a midfoot fusion performed by Dr Yeo four months ago, and it has healed very well. I have always found Dr Yeo to be honest, thorough and have a great sense of humour and bedside manner. He is very approachable and talks in layman's terms, not Dr speak. He truly knows his stuff and I have no hesitation in recommending him or seeing him again if I needed any surgery in the future.

Dr Yeo is amazing. He stabilised my ankle and it performs perfectly again. Gerald has a no nonsense attitude, that I relate to and gets straight to the point whether good or bad.

I’m so thankful to Dr Yeo for fixing my previous unsuccessful surgery performed by another surgeon. From the moment I met him, I felt comfortable and confident that he would fix my problem with my toe. Dr Yeo did an excellent job in reconstructing my ankle. As a RN, I work with doctors regularly and choosing Dr. Gerald Yeo to do my surgery is one of the best decisions I made. He fully accessed my case and assisted me in every way he can. From pre op to post op and most importantly recovery. I’m back to full time work as an RN and no more issues with my ankle.

Can I say I was concerned aboat another operation but the the care from staff and the genuine help and understanding from Dr yeo couldn't be better im going to see if I can get my older brother to talk to him about his ankles as he hasn't much fath in doctors but Dr yeo top notch
