Dr John Albietz

2013 I was operated on my back by John Albietz. Now, 10 years later, following his advice, I'm still able to do the same job that wrecked my back. I'm thanking John Albietz for his excellent knowledge and advice.

Dr Albietz performed successful surgery on me 2-3 weeks ago. He treated me with respect and professionalism and eased my mind. Very knowledgeable and explained things very clearly. Definitely recommend.

I've been with Dr Albeitz for 5 years. He is a extremely good surgeon who gives great explanations. He does not do surgery " just because he can or because there is a little pain" but waits until you really need it. Twice he has taken me from nerve pain to know pain buy not rushing into surgery, and doing it at the correct time.
I highly recommend Dr Albeitz if you have a proper crook back.

I had surgery in August for a microdiscetomy and laminotomy performed by Dr John Albeitz at St Vincents Hospital at Chermside. The surgery was a success and have no pain and able to get about without a walking stick. I thoroughly recommend Dr Albeitz as a surgeon as he totally professional and knowlegable. Back in 2014 Dr John fused L4 and L5 in my lower back after 40 odd years of pain . I have enjoyed a pain free life since. As well as being a very skilled practitioner he is a really nice down to earth guy.

Dr John Albietz performed a PLIF L3 - L5 on me in 2017 at the PA Hospital.
He gave me my life back and I can't thank him enough. Wish I'd had it done sooner.

I have now passed the first anniversary since my spinal fusion. Great result, completely free of previous pain suffered for many years. Dr.John really knows his specialty and I would recommend him to anyone considering a spinal operation.

If there’s no issues from a referring doctor, of a scan that showed there might have been, probably just give someone an email review or a call rather than chinging in on a pointless visit to sit at a desk, don’t get me wrong, we all need to make a dollar or 10, but there was no reason for my day off and you to chew appointment times. At the end of the day $400 is $400 dollars but people like bang for buck. 😉 I feel well played.

Disgusted at his attitude because I've been treated by a neurosurgeon in Sydney for 10 years and ended up in st Vincent's he was rude and insulting, I was in so much pain didn t need a lecture on back surgery. Didn't even bother to ask what my history was. I'm shocked at how you could treat a patient like that.
