Dr Ward-Harvey treated me with the up most respect, integrity and care. His manner and expertise go beyond and above all expectations. He was very understanding and knowledgeable and supported me in making treatment options that suited me and he openly shared his experience whilst listening to the my overall needs. I cannot recommend Dr Ward- Harvey enough and I have recommended many people see him for his opinion and treatment. I am grateful for the treatment he offered me and it has certainly improved my quality of life. Dr Ward-Harvey has a great manner and is very professional and personable.

I recently had varicose vein surgery on both legs. I can't thank him enough for the great result .. after many years of wearing jeans to hide my legs because I was too embarrassed from the large ugly painful veins . I have now been able to buy dresses for the first time in years . Dr Richard Ward-Harvey was extremely professional and also very personable and friendly .. Debra and Amber were both caring and put me at ease ..I can't recommend them all highly enough. He has changed my life .

After seeing Dr Harvey Ward a few times and him performing a procedure on these rare AV malformations, lymphatic malformations I have finally seen an improvement that I have never seen before for my rare condition. Great patient manner and I can see he is a genuine specialist who tries to do his best for his patients without over-charging. I think Dr Ward-Harvey is better than most of the vascular specialists I have seen before him -very clever specialist and equally as humble ( rare combination these days).

I have been a patient of D Richard Ward-Harvey for a number of years and was recently diagnosed with 3 blockages in my left leg schedule caused great pain on walking any great distance. He is a great surgeon.

Diagnosed with grossly dilated refluxing ovarian veins and pelvic varicose veins / pelvic congestion syndrome. He does not know enough regarding this condition as he only embolised both ovarian veins and refused to look at the cause. As my last pregnancy was 28 years prior this was not the cause. It was found that I had a compressed renal vein which is the second most common reason and with him refusing to treat this and hearing my loss of quality of life with pain I can not recommend him at all.
At my last appointment at Gold Coast university hospital the doctor who went to speak with him about my concerns I heard Dr Ward Harvey tell him "she's always complaining" and in turn entered the room with a big smile and said "great news your all fixed" in a very condescending manner. Lied to me and said that he will discuss my scans etc at the next meeting and call me, he never did and discharged me from coming back to the vascular clinic.
