Mandarin Garden

Hadn't had Chinese for a long long time and wanted my kids to try some as it was one of my favourites growing up. Beef blackbean, honey chicken, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, wontons and a short soup. Service was great. Very friendly, and the chef even popped his head out to say thanks and to enjoy the meal. Food was great and the kids loved it.

Good prices! Call ahead, tho, cuz the can ba line on the weekends, and wait time might b half an hour sometimes.

Absolutely love the Chinese food from this restaurant. We have never had a bad experience - food is always hot and fresh.
Our favourites would have to be sweet and sour pork, egg omelette, beef chow mein and the chicken fried Rice.
Would have to be the best Chinese takeaways we have tried in Australia.

We only had takeaway curry beef and satay chicken both were faultless so delicious 😋.
Definitely be eating there again.
Allow extra time for pick ups can be very busy.

Placed our first order here tonight after recently moving to the area. Was not disappointed.

Generous sized meals very reasonably priced, especially with the current prices for meat and produce.

The Best Local takeaway Chinese in Pac Pines , Oxenford area full stop. Yes, I have been to all of them over the years. Definitely NOT over priced with most mains at $15 bucks, good solid portions as each of our containers had a lid that was bursting to get free, and really nice, fresh ingredients cooked and presented to how we like it. Non Greasy, fresh and excellent taste. My sons are basic eaters but loved the Lemon Chicken and Honey Chicken. Kung Pow did its spicy job and the chili beef perfect.
Yes, they get their timings off sometimes but they do try hard.
To all the one or two review warriors out there leaving one star for having to wait a bit, really ain't fair. Just saying. ( i am usually pretty stingy with the 5 stars but hopefully this will move the dial up for you a bit)
So maybe fix the timings a bit for grumpy time poor crew and would be lovely to include old fashioned fortune cookies in the package.

We ordered honey pork and stir fried vegetables. Both dishes were very tasty. Good value. Friendly service. We will be back!

Just the best quality, best tasting food every time. That is what keeps me coming back time and again! They won't rush and ruin your order if they are busy.

Have been buying food from this restaurant for about 10 years now. I've been to many others and I still keep coming back to this one and have very little to complain about. It isn't perfect, but it is certainly better than most. The large special fried rice is good value and not too greasy, a meal on its own. The sweet and sour pork is nice and crispy.

The food here is simply outstanding , it is authentic Asian with heaps of quality ingredients cooked to perfection and served in generous proportions highly recommend this place

Finally found a Chinese place that's good! We use to have to get ours 2 suburbs out. I am a regular now. Chicken fried rice is the best, bbq pork egg omelette, chicken w/ plum sauce, sweet n sour pork - it's all good. Haven't had anything I haven't liked yet. If ordering by phone get in early, If i'm too late I constantly get the engaged tone because they're always so busy...grrrrr. Shows how good their food is. A++

Best Chinese Food on the Gold coast, the wait is definitely worth it. Absolutely delicious food.
Try them you'll feel the same seriously great.

Tried this Chinese for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it! We had the Mongolian lamb, the chicken with plum sauce, special fried rice, and the spring rolls. Everything was so delicious. Will definitely be coming back again!

Excellent food, can often be a long wait as it is a very popular location best to get in early on Friday and Saturday nights and plan ahead. Well worth the wait and is reasonably priced great selection on the menu

My favourite! Want a superb sate? Try Chicken Sate and ask them to thicken the sauce a little...just perfect! Love the Fried Dim Sims too!
