Sushi & Izakaya One Piece

During our week long holiday in Surfers we visited Sushi Izakaya 3 times for a family lunch and also to grab quick takeaways. The food was fresh, tasty and very good value for money. The restaurant itself is very clean with friendly staff and sited in a busy little part of Surfers but was still a relaxing place to sit back and enjoy our meals. Would highly recommend this lovely little Sushi restaurant.

Very nice, thank you, often some good specials like $3 for a teriyaki chicken dish or $5 for chilli chicken dish. Recommended

Went here for a cute little friend date, had the chicken katsu curry and the boneless sweet chilli chicken in a meal and it was so good! Decent portion sizes for a medium meal and we still couldn't finish our food. Definitely would come back

Good quality food, very friendly staff, next to flight center, also has heater at outdoor seating. Will come again

Just to inform you that i purchased those sushi and the rice was raw. i mean it still not cooked! such a horrible unpleasent way to eat a rice dish. having to pay that much for it..

연어는 사시미 등급이 맞는지 의문이 들고, 기본적으로 초밥의 밥쥐는 법조차 모르는 것 같음.
밥이 딱딱합니다. 튜나 도시락은 동원참치캔을 사용하시는 듯한 오스트렐리안 드림을 꿈꾸시는 코리안의 절약정신을 맛볼 수 있습니다.

Unfortunately had to give it 1 star due to being the lowest I can give . Found a STONE in my food, Chipped my tooth and in pain. When i went to speak to management they chuckled at me and told me to go to the dentist. NOT HAPPY and will be sending them the bill to my multiple dentist appointments needed.

Very overpriced and honestly not that great. Had the teriyaki chicken and salad rolls (4 small pieces for $8) and the chicken was dry and tasted like it was a few days old. Also drenched in sauce which is probably to hide the taste of old chicken. Sorry but will not return.

At $4 per sushi roll you’d expect some great tasting sushi, however I cannot verbally express how much this sushi let down my expectations.

I bought a salmon sushi as all the other sushi rolls did not look appealling at all, the avocado was browning at the edges and the rice looked dry. I visited this store at 1pm, which one would assume would be lunch time therefore the sushi would be semi fresh, they were absolutely not, still looked like the batch made from the morning... or god forbid the day before.

The sushi did in fact taste dry, bland and not fresh at all, definitely not worth the steep price point. They sell 2 spring rolls for $4 and those were just as bad. They were watery and soggy, honestly anything could’ve been better than this for lunch.

The customer service was appalling, I was about to insert my card as I prefer that than paypassing, however the lady who was serving me snatched my card out of my hand and tapped it for me. I was too shocked to say anything, however that is definitely not the correct way to treat a customer.

Never in a million years would I recommend this place and I will never return.

Not many options for food and all the food I ate was off; the rice was rock hard, the avocado was brown, the salmon was way too warm and worse is my roll had two small flying bugs in it. This place should definitely be investigated.
