One of the best camping spots close to canberra, has a beautiful creek, swim holes, maintained toilets and shower. Has bbq areas as well, suitable for kids and all ages. Sky full of stars, breath taking!

We loved our weekend here. Creek beautiful and clear. Safe for little ones. We did have neighbours across the creek with some doof doof music a little loud but they were nice enough to stop at a decent hour. Grounds well kept.

Beautiful Camp site. Very clean. Has hot showers, drinking water and an area to wash up. Has a creek where you can swim in the summer, and plenty of places to walk. You do need to book but it's not expensive.

Beautiful camping spot. Walking tracks along river, swimming spots. Plenty of camping spots. $18 a night ( New Year’s Eve 2022) with flush toilets and hot shower . Gravel road 6ks further down from ranger office.

Lovely place to escape for a few days, only 1.5 hours from Canberra. The facilities are great at this site with hot showers and flushing toilets. Some phone reception but I didn't spend much time on my phone. Anything you left at home can be purchased from the Rangers office (at Billy Grace campground).
Gorgeous river running through the site and an enjoyable short walk to the swimming hole.
5 STARS from me

Sensational campground with plenty of creek access, large grassed areas and clean amenities. Nearby walking tracks, fishing and a scamble to the rocky outcrop make it nice spot for outdoor pursuits. Take your own firewood and make use of the various firepits.

Truly an amazing place to camp, it's perfect for every level of camping experience. The flushing toilets and warm showers provide a bit more comfort in the bush.
Watch the stars and satellites overhead at night.
This place has grown with popularity and the holiday seasons really do fill up fast. Access to the waterfront is allowed for all campers regardless of whether you consider it your own claim, so placing your aggressive dog at the edge where it bites everyone passing is not advisable, SIC of blue heeler attached to marquee. You will also need to take your rubbish out with you as bins are no longer provided.

A pleasant surprise. Quite an enjoyable stay and accessible to 2wd cars. If you are passing by Billy Grace to get your campaign spot, make sure to head into the office to pick up your sticker so you don't have to go back there afterwards.

What a magical camping site! This is a very easy and short walk from the camp grounds along the creek to some small falls and water hole.

From the end of the trail there is then an optional unofficial steep track going up the side of the hill to the rock formation. There is a rope to get you up there so if you aren’t ready for a steep climb don’t go!

Lovely camping spot. I heard that this place is legendary place to go since ages ago. But it was first time for me. 2017 $12 per night per person. $3 for a child. Go to Billy grave to pay the fee. Drinking water, hot shower, electronic BBQ, clean toilets. Swimming hole was deep and nice. I will definitely visit again.

Fantastic camping grounds with hot showers and flush toilets. Only a meager $13/pp per night. Plenty of hikes to go on. Nothing like camping by the river and being awoken by birds chirping away.

Absolutely stunning in the autumn and fewer campers too! Really well maintained and dog friendly, such a wonderful spot to visit for a picnic or camp.

Been in the ACT for 20 odd years and never knew of this place!!!! It is awe inspiring, magical, relaxing even with children and dogs around the space enabled a great retreat for all. Facilities maintained beautifully, just adding to the great time. A big thanks to the caretaker who keeps it that way. Also adventurous bush walks.. AMAZING (A big thank you Cuz, for taking me.) P.S. I love children and dogs, I just want to emphasise the space!!!
