Incredible people. Kind, generous and awesome. I absolutely loved staying here. I absolutely loved the kindness of the people to a solo hiker. Great location. Decent store selection and the kiosk is open four days a week. I'm in awe. And a fabulous sunset to finish.

Such an amazing location with a beautiful lake to one side and to the other sides it is surrounded by the beautiful Burrinjuck Waters State Park. There are lots of kangaroos and parrots who come to your site wanting food, there is bird seed and kangaroo food available from the office but bread and other human food makes them sick and aggressive. There is this one scruffy, skinny orphan joey who hangs around powered sites 301-307. He has no parents so relies on humans for food. Do not touch him though as he scratches a lot and probably has fleas. Also beware of the adult male kangaroos as they are very strong and can kick you if they feel threatened. It is great for animal lovers, boaters, water skiers, fishermen and paddle boarders

Thank you to the staff in the park who extended such kindness to me :)
Last Friday, I just had one of those days, where almost anything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I lost $100 worth of lures, my electric trolling motor blew a fuse and smoke was coming out of the head unit, I had a massive ‘bird’s nest’ tangle in my reel that required 90 mins to be relaxed, and it took me over two hours to get back to the boat ramp in my kayak because I was stupid enough not to realise how wild the waves can pick up in the main basin, when winds and strong gusts become very active. Also, two families at the boat ramp had blocked my car in with theirs, and even after politely asking them, twice, to move their cars, they did not.
However, upon exiting the park, the kindness extended to me by the staff is what truly made my day better. It touched my heart, and that is what humanity is all about - helping others in times of need.
If the staff who dealt with me ever read this, thank you. Your kindness is what made my day better.

Staff were super friendly, the park & roads are well kept. We stayed in the cabin right on the water and the view was stunning 😍 the cabin had everything that we needed including a BBQ and fire pit. Perfect spot to get away and relax for the weekend.

Camped with brother and our sons in swags for two nights. Amenities are top notch. Excellent showers; heated bathroom. Very clean. Excellent services. Nice boat ramp, Gorgeous dam. Be prepared for it to be very remote. Services are great, but if you're missing something, it's a long drive to the nearest shop.

Lush, green, lakeside paradise perfect for families looking to disconnect and reconnect with each other. Hand feed parrots & kangaroos. Kids can catch plenty of carp and redfin along the shoreline. On site store, takeaway food, fuel available on-site. Cabins, powered sites and camping sites available. Great boat launching options available for keen anglers or skiers.

Location is amazing, cabins are amazing, the most comfortable pillows. Not noise of a night.
Staying here for a week and hopefully be back after Easter to stay for a couple of months.

We had great 3 nights stay here. Beautiful lake! Do not drive on the Burrinjuck Road if there is a windy rainstorm - we have seen too many trees fall off on the road! We were lucky to escape one on us.

The Staff are very welcoming, Our cabin had a great view of the water and was very peaceful sitting on the big verandah with the kids watching the birds. Great spot for fishing and the shop does yummy kid approved chips. Well worth the visit.

This is a fantastic place to come for a family holiday. The Superior Cabin (5 person) was immaculately clean and really well appointed with great views of the dam and surrounding countryside. There was a great play equipment for kids. This is a huge park, much bigger than I was expecting. I'd like to try the camping sometime as well, lots of great sites and seemed to be plenty of space between sites. The shower block that we poked our heads into was very clean and looked great. We'll definitely be back!!

Top spot. Great people. Good amenities. Great drive up to the dam wall area, seeing all the quaint old weatherboard building dating back from the '50s. Sandflies around the water's edge eat you alive after dark!!!

A beautiful scenic campground, just over an hours drive away from Canberra... They have cabins as well as powdered and unpowered sites. The amenities block was very well maintained and sparkling clean. Highly recommended!!!

5 star experience, the staff were all lovely and always had a smile. The nature is amazing for a family with kids or a couple for the weekend. The kangaroo and birds are always around for a feed and a hello in which I loved. The cabins were clean and presented very well
Be sure to book in or come for a day visit

Well well. It just goes to show quality not quantity. As well it's in your local back yard just goes to show you dont have to spend money to have a great time.. The service and time away from our busy lives. We needed this with my family and friends. To spend time and realise what life is really ment to be.

Highly recommended and will be going sooner than later.

Thank you to the staff extremely friendly.

Looks like a fun park by the water to spend some time away to relax. A word of caution, take everything as there are very limited shops to buy replenishments. It is 30 km from the highway and another 30 km to Yass!
