Beautiful spot and campground situated in the Brindabella National Park on the banks of the Goodradigbee River.
You will need four wheel drive to access the area and be self sufficient with all aspects of camping.
Bookings for the campground should be made through the National Parks website.
An easy day trip from Canberra passing through the Namadgi National Park via Two Sticks Road or through Flea Creek.
Suggest you take maps and have a good understanding of traveling on fire trails and remote bush areas and some four wheel drive experience, there are some steep descents heading down to the area and can become very difficult to get out after rain or snow.

Clean drop toilets, nice location, tough climb in and out but that's the fun part. High clearance 4wd recommended. Portable Starlink worked a dream. Got over 80mbps.

Steep climbs and descents to the camp ground. Lots of fun in the wet.
Access to the river limited but 'do-able'

Lovely camp site beside a river. 4WD access only to get there. It has toilets there too. It was a great place to have lunch, beat the weather that was coming in to get out. Be tough to get out in the wet.

The track in is epic and the creek is crystal. It has a nice flow and you could swim in warmer months. The hut is amazing if it gets cold and you want a fire....
Ehrm I mean its a terrible place and you'll hate it dont bother 😅

Beautiful and secluded, McIntyres campground is a must for anybody who like 4wding and camping. It has a crystal clear River for swimming or fishing and large grassy campsites to set up. No designated fire pits, but fires are permissible in non fire ban time of year. Camp spots are any place with enough space to fit. There's lots of space and a drop toilet. May get busy Christmas and Easter, but I haven't been at that time of year, so not sure. Highly recommend getting down here and don't forget to explore the hut and surrounding 4wd tracks.

4WD ONLY & NO TRAILERS - The High Country of NSW, with no locked gates.

Mcintyres Trail starts off with gradual climbs over small rain humps and over erroded rain ruts. Towards the end of the track, expect a steep decent with large ruts and rocks to manuver as you head down towards the campsite. A gutless vehicle without lockers may scramble for traction on the drive back up. Heres where a diff locker can shine, although it's all about line placement. Low range and low gear is choice in this kind of terrain.

Beautiful camping area next to the river, aswell as a hut to check out. There are two drop toilets located either side of the camping area. Well worth the drive. 👍

Great secluded campsite that runs along the river. River access is limited in some spots but the campsites do provide a spot for a fire. I have only ever caught carp near the campsites but if you are up for a hike along the river, then you can get a few trout. Just wear long pants due to the thorny bushes

Plenty of space, great camping near river.
Took the range rover sport for a run on street tyres, no problems. track was dry.
In high 4wd all the way

Awesome camping area on the Goodradigbee River. Clean, modern longdrops. Access is absolutely 4wd only; difficult for camper trailers even in dry conditions, challenging in the wet even without a trailer :-)
