We always have such a great experience here! The new chef is amazing and lovely! All the staff always go above and beyond. I don’t know all their names but Steph is so lovely. Her customer care is 10/10. We love that here is also family friendly 🤎

Awesome steak special! Deliciously cooked. Didn’t know what to expect as bistro was empty but clean and well presented. Really wanted steak and this place didn’t disappoint. Popped in for late Sat lunch (ends 2pm) and couldn’t believe how good the $16.50 steak special was. Great little find and central GC spot without being in the hustle and bustle!! Coming back for more hope it’s still around!!

It was our last night on the gold coast
We were staying on the Nrth part of Surfis Paradise, decided on going to an Italian restaurant on Chevron Island, stopped in for a drink before dinner and we ended not leaving.
Went up to the bar and we were served by a beautiful young man named Gabriel, bought drinks and we never left. We were having such a great night we decided to have dinner here. We had the scotch fillet and the chicken sniddie, both just good old pub meals but done with perfection. Chicken Schnitzel was made from scratch the chicken was delicious and juicy with hot salty chips and fresh salad that was also made fresh (not like the old wilted salad you usually get)
and gravy on the side
Scotch fillet was cooked to perfection medium rare juicy and same sides.
I can't say enough about the bartender Gabriel and the chef both doing their jobs but doing them so well.
The young man in the kitchen was cleaning and cooking as I could see him from where I was he never stopped and Gabriel the bartender fantastic customer service with an amazing personality.
It's a must go place.

The burger was delicious and the staff incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it!

Great food at great prices & the beer is also one of the cheapest on the Gold Coast. Plus live music most nights so do yourself a favour & visit. You won't be disappointed.

Well what can I say! I had my birthday at the tavern last night and Pearce and the staff were absolutely amazing !! We had the dining room and everything was wonderful. We were able to decorate and move tables to suit, and the nibbles were awesome 😍 The room was just perfect.Thank you so much Pearce for a memorable night and definitely see you soon.

My husband and I stayed in Chevron Island for our holiday.
First night we had dinner and it was absolutely delicious we took back pizza to our family and they were the best pizza we have had!
We decided to have dinner at the Taverm most nights as the chef went out of his way to facilitate our dietary requirements. Great value for money.
Entertainment was awesome and the staff were very friendly.
Thankyou we will be back!

Bang on food and great service. Lovely place for a quick cheap and excellent meal or somewhere to have a drink. Either way, it's great. Will definitely be back again.
Chicken schnitzels are the best we have had on the coast so far and we go to lots of places to test them out!

Don’t be fooled by the facade. Once inside, this is a great little spot! I’ve walked passed many times, but never stuck my head in.

I had the bangers and mash and it was very yummy. The Bar Staff are friendly too so just a great place to chill.

My one gripe is they need to upgrade their Foxtel box, so I can watch the footy in HD 🤣

We popped in on a whim looking for some shade and a bite. Best decision. Lovely place, staff are wonderful, friendly people. Food was absolutely delicious, we had the spag bog and garlic bread. Everything is reasonably priced and nothing but good vibes. Also toilets are clean and interior of the whole place is really cool.

Decent enough little bar. Toilets were well-maintained. I enjoyed the comedy on the Tuesday nights once a month as well.

We had rump and salad and it was so good. The steak was char-grilled and cooked to perfection. The salad dressing was to die for. Friendly service.

Best burgers on the GC!

We live locally on the island and frequent this joint every week without fail. Not only do the staff treat us like family, know what we drink, know what we eat and pull out the high chair when they see us coming with our 1 year old son- but the food is to die for!

Thanks for the friendly service and the delicious food guys. Oh, and for being absolute legends 👌
