This is the best Laksa I've ever had, you can really tell the chefs put time, love & effort into their food.

This is a must try!

The photos don't do this food justice, the fried chicken is also a must try!!

This review has been over 20 years in the making. My first experience of this incredible laksa was in my first year uni at UNSW in 2000. I still remember the no nonsense malaysian aunties who took care of this lowly undergrad. It's been there for me through thick and thin, through uni, and exams. The soup was delicious, rumoured to be so addictive there could've been drugs in there we joked. But it was all love and authenticity. I order mine just egg noodles and soy chicken. This laksa has and will be the gold standard by which I measure all other laksas.
I was pleased to discover that while the place has changed hands since, the quality was the same.
You'll laugh, you'll cry, and most of all you'll love.

Time and time again this place does not disappoint when it comes to laksa. Always full of flavour and you're greeted with a smile every time. My fave food place on UNSW campus.

A hidden gem within Sydney. I love visiting this place when I’m in Sydney. There is always queues for their laksa no matter the time of day. It is delicious, spicy and flavorsome. They use a combination of rice and hokkien noodles in the soups. The choices of meat available ranges from beef, chicken, pork, wontons and seafood. Make sure you slurp every drop of your soup because I will guarantee you would be asking for more. The store is open throughout the year but close during summer university break.

Not a stretch to say some of the best laksa in Sydney - easily rivals any food court offering in the city.
I was nothing short of disappointed when I got to try the famed Malay-Chinese takeaway (its original incarnation on Hunter Street) - never knew I was so spoilt right here on campus

Laksa soup is good-tasting, there is good and fast service, and plenty of seats above the restaurant in the Matthews Pavilion. Portions are on par with other on-campus locations

Meat quality could be better, but 100% recommended

For a uni food court, the laksa is shockingly good and reasonably priced. Definitely doing something right.

Tasty Laksa. Love the ability to choose what noodles. Delicious, although recommend adding topping like extra chilli etc.

Still open and renovated and serving one of the best laksa in Sydney, and by extension, possibly the world. Most dishes are below $10. Free parking is generally available around Arthur St off-campus. Enter via Gate 8. Seating is cafeteria style and takeaway is common. Non university students are welcomed and has a loyal alumni following.

Laksa is absolutely delicious, possibly the best I’ve ever had. Ingredients are super fresh and pricing is very reasonable so definitely value for money. Will come back again!

I haven't been at UNSW for 2 years now however the times I have gone back it has been because of Satay Delight's BBQ pork and Wonton Laksa. I still think about it every day. Maybe not the most "elegant" soup but it is hands down the tastiest Laksa in Sydney and I've had a few. Get extra chilli too for some extra fun!
