Vinnies Blacktown

A lovely op shop right in the centre of Blacktown.

Plenty of variety with loads of women's clothes (as always), shoes, jewellery.

A good collection of infant clothes.

Ok selection of books. A lot of jigsaw puzzles.

Stacks of crockery, including bakeware and I even spotted a Pyrex or two.

A lot of glassware. There is certainly enough that you could set up a new home with all your dinnerware. I didn't spot much cutlery but I noticed some were kept behind the counter, not sure why.

Absolutely lovely, friendly staff when I visited on a Tuesday afternoon.

Amazing people at the hub and they truly make you feel welcome and the shop is great and a few beautiful things!

This is a very large op-shop. They have so many clothes!
They have a variety of different items as well like bedding, cutlery, plate's, book's, toy's and crockery to name a few.
The staff have nearly always been lovely and when recently one of my son's came with me because he'd just had a massive growth spurt the ladies were finding him great clothes all with the half price sticker on bar one. I went on Saturday last time a this lady was NOT HELPFUL at all. She showed me some pottery I couldn't afford and I was at the desk waiting to pay when she instantly have another guy a discount $10 off the price!! Perhaps you need to op-shop on Saturday really scruffy. I manage I've been told that I always dress nicely, however all my clothes are op-shops. I won't go on a Saturday again!!! She put $50 on a pair of shoes and wouldn't reduce the price of that either. Dress really scruffy old singlet on Saturday then you'll probably get a discount
You need to be careful before you purchase because sometimes you'll get home and find thing's wrong but the label doe's clearly state 'sold as is'

Great store, great friendly staff but some clothes prices approaching retail prices.

A good low-priced vinnies with a fair selection of second-hand tops and dresses. Not a large selection of underwear. A shelf of womens shoes and some handbags. More womens items than mens. A modest linen section and a corner at the back for household items like crockery and utensils. Jewellery items sold at the counter. A good Vinnies to spend a little time browsing.

Friendly senior staffs.

However staff's conversation is usually loud and constant. It is like shopping in someone's house where familie members are chatting happily.

The location is hidden in the low traffic area. It is usually not crowded or busy.

Books are a little overpriced considering their damaged condition and small size. Salvos' books are much cheaper.

You might find some good stuffs in the small home ware section.

Most of the clothes are fast fashioned.

Can't tell you how disappointing this place is you can't buy tears

Visited to thrift and one of the workers were very impolite and rushful. When making purchase she held the items for desr life acting like we were gonna steal it, i understand she may be doing her job but to make customers feel unwelcomed isnt part of it. As she rung us up for the items she proceeded to put her hands in our faces yelling 'stop! your reciept'. I appreciate giving us our reciepts but no need to yell nor shove you hanfs in our faces. The experience was overall ruined by this lady's customer service.
