Passing through on the way to SA today with dad, stopped by to get the $24 burger combo and a $13 kebab for lunch. The guy who served us cut $3 off the kebab because it wasn't packed with stuff, and he was so friendly too. Food was hot, fresh and delicious and the restaurant was clean and well decorated. Would recommend for a quality feed!

We all had Chicken Snitzel Wraps and ate in. Best I've had in years, definitely recommend. Service was great. Nice and clean with is always great.
Definitely be back when we are in Coonabarabran again.

Only ordered a plain old large cheese pizza for the grandson and wishing we did the same. Pizza was well made and a fast turnaround. Viewed other pizzas getting made and they all looked very good. The two pizza chefs were pleasant and welcoming.
Forget the Chinese takeaway, get pizzas from Coona Chicks instead. 👍

Oct 20. New to town, found opposite the council office. At LAST a tasty charcoal chicken! We found the chicken moist and certainly finger licking. The Greek salad, the salted pickles and the garlic/lemon sauce went down a treat. Next time we’ll be trying the kebabs and more. I wish them all the success that they deserve.

Now Dec 23: chicken shop is still going strong…has added Pizzas to their menu…also delicious.. only problem is some of the younger staff are a bit shy in their use of garlic and toppings…maybe mention it to them when ordering.

This place has the best chicken, salads, desserts, and coffee in town. The customer service is top notch, staff is always very friendly and helpful. Prices are very good, and the place is spotless. I eat here at least 2-3 times a week and I have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!

The owner was a very lovely guy who made the experience of going there, even better. He made us feel comfortable and offered us a taste of the chicken that was freaky made. Not only that. The food we had tasted so healthy and was very enjoyable to eat. Wish you had one on the Sunshine Coast.

Genuinely happy to do anything for their customers. Always go above and beyond to cater for our whole family including our fussy children. Staff are always kind and friendly and so generous.
Also so nice to see a business giving the young people in our community a place to begin their employment journey.
Coona Chicks has always been happy to sponsor our local Netball Club and are always providing delicious fruit platters and bbqs for our members.

I was staying in town for the night and this was the only place open. I’m glad I stopped in. The pizzas were delicious and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend it. They also do hamburgers, kebabs, chicken etc etc.

Stopped by Coonachicks over the Easter break for a feed with the family & was greeted by very friendly staff who made the most delicious beef kebab with garlic sauce, the wife had a Portuguese chicken burger who said it was the best burger she’s ever had so I couldn’t help but sink my teeth into it!

Not many places to stop in Coonabarabran but this is one shop I'd happily spend money at lovely meals, always so fresh, fruit Salad is to die for! Lovely staff 👌 very friendly! Great coffee and thickshakes too.. so if you stop in Coonabarabran stop in and say hi and order yourself a nice meal 😋

Stopped in at coona chicks for a quick lunch on Saturday, not what I expected to say the least. Firstly the the kebab was jam packed with beef flavoured fun. My wife ordered a plain burger, that i just had to sink my teeth into. I must say hats off to you guys . A1 friendly service and great food. I’ll definitely be back

Food is always hot an fresh, by far the best chicken in town!! Better then KFC in my opinion. Friendly staff, great customer service! If you are ever passing through Coonabarabran or having a night where you don’t want to cook dinner, pop down an see the team at Coona Chicks! You will not be disappointed 😃
