The Rec Hotel, Northam

Spent 2 nights across the road in the new units. Lovely, clean and quiet. The pub itself absolutely charming. Cannot compliment the staff enough . Thank you Lisa and Trinity 2 of the nicest people, so helpful and nothing was 2 hard. A great asset to the pub. Food was awesome and serves were generous.
We enjoyed it so much, we are going to go back very soon.

The service was fantastic! Our room was comfortable, and the air-conditioning was perfect for a 33-degree day. We had our dinner there, which was delicious. The only problems we had were the showers, the water dribbled out.

The Mixed Catch main course is undoubtedly one of the best seafood meals I have ever experienced. Coupled with a good wine list, this is definitely a prime dining experience for Northam.

Large old pub style lunch. Huge pork ribs look at it in the pics. Wagyu steak with garlic sauce so tasty. Clean dining room and heaps of room for groups outside too. Enjoyed this visit and thanks to friendly staff.

Just had the best meal in a long time... steak was perfectly cooked with serve of veg & slow roast brisket was melt in the mouth. Well done all staff !!

Pizza was just ok needed balls. garlic sauce was the boot needed. Fish and chips in my top 25 for country pubs

In the heart of Wheatbelt town Northam. Great restaurant food.
Attentive staff. Nice ambience.
Stayed upstairs in the pub but they have about 40 rooms, pub, motel etc.
Short scenic drives to York and Toodyay. Worth a visit !

Went for lunch, as their steak sandwich is in top 10 in WA 2023 competition. Unfortunately, that particular dish wasn't available on the day.

So had the 250gm cheeseburger and a mate had beef cheek curry. Both very tasty, large portions, good beer selection.

Amazing service from the friendly staff. Accomodation perfect and exactly what we needed. Also the pizzas are delicious and highly recommend going for a pizza!

Lovely old pub. Nice and quiet other than the squeaky floorboards. Food was lovely and the service was quick and very friendly. Was surprised about the shared bathrooms (may not apply to all rooms) but they were super clean, plentiful and always empty when I needed one. No complaints.

Had lunch, the meal was fantastic and well priced. Will be going back.

We had our staff Christmas party here recently and the food and service were impeccable! I had The Big Tony from their Ballers menu and it was superb! Great vibe and ambience. We had pre-drinks in the garden before we were taken to an private dining area with a lovely atmosphere. Thanks so much! Would definitely visit again 😊

Friendly and accommodating staff.
Food was well presented and plentiful ordered from a varied menu. Specials board also available.
Great chips - always a bonus.
