Great Park to visit, right along side the Avon River. Beautifully maintained, lush green lawns. BbQs, covered picnic tables, playground and water playground for the kids. Clean public toilets. A great suspension bridge over the river was a fun walk. Dog friendly. Ample parking that accommodates caravans and campers. Went for a walk to the local bakery, owners and staff very welcoming. Had lunch back at the park. Great day had. Credit to the Shire of Northam.

Nice park that has a number of picnic and bbq areas, bathrooms, playground, a water feature kids can play in, lots of parking and a nice view of the river. Toilets are sometimes really dirty.

Great little public park near the Avon River to stop and stretch your legs. Public BBQs, toilets and under cover picnic tables. Check out the Avon River and walk the suspension bridge.

Complete family fun park. Lots of seating arrangement to enjoy the picturesque river and bridge (longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Australia) view. Many barbecues so your lunch is also covered. Kids can enjoy the playground with dancing in the water showers. Did I mention White Swans (the only place in Australia where White Swans breed naturally in the wild)?

Hubby and I thought we would go for a drive through Northam before heading home, so glad we did, We stopped at the park just in time to see the ducks, swans, seagulls and all the other species of wildlife get fed by the lovely lady from the shire 😁
Beautiful experience especially if you haven't seen flocks of birds etc running towards a human who is calling out to them "come on you mob" 😂😍

Thank you to the lady for sharing your knowledge of the wildlife living in the area 👍🏽

We will definitely bring our kids next time we are heading to perth.

A park that runs along the Toodyay River near Newcastle park. We were there after a very heavy rainy season and the river was beautiful.

Great park for the little ones and bigger alike.
We were driving through the neighbourhood and I had to stop so my 2yo could stretch his legs. He made so many friends ☺ it was good to see a bunch of kids from all ages being so kind and helpful! What stood out were 2 adolescent boys (about 12/13?) Made sure my little was safe (when they were on the swings) stopped to say hi and have a gibberish chat with a 2yo. So lovely!!! I made sure I told the adult they were with that they were awesome kids!!! Take a picnic, go for a stroll. Feed the ducks (if you're allowed?). Either way it's a lovely family atmosphere.
