It was lucky to find this place. Homemade food, very good, and the place is very pleasant. Especially the gentleman who attended us. Highly recommended😊

I would highly recommend Wendland, as the cafe offers excellent service and an impressive selection of food, dine in, or takeaway.
I had a very enjoyable breakfast & and Danish accompanied by a great coffee.

We adventured here for a delightful breakfast. Fuelled on the promise of the other great reviews. Upon entry we were made to feel welcome whilst our senses were bombarded with the smell of fine food and coffee. We ordered just that, with a flat white and a plate of bacon and eggs. The coffee arrived to our chosen seating place rather promptly and it was such a warm surprise to find it was actually decently made. If you enjoy a coffee that actually has a thick warm crema, freshly ground beans and served at the right temperature then this is the place for you. The fluffy crema of the coffee would have to be the best I have found so far in Toowoomba. The main course soon arrived and was well presented. The eggs were fried to perfection and the yoke was still runny. Exactly how I like them. The bacon was a little on the salty side but did not take away from the care shown to cook them in a way that left them crispy yet soft at the same time. The bread was fresh and garnished with some lovely dill. It tasted so good I had eaten half of it when I realised I had forgotten to take a photo. Overall I would recommend this cafe for anyone that would like a moderately busy place with exceptional coffee and food. This place also serves a variety of hand made cheeses and an assortment of jars with pickles, jams and sauces.

Super cool cafe that's become a lil bit of a cute thing for my partner and I, good coffee, awesome food, and some unique international foods and ingredients make it a comfy place to spend your time, il gladly be back again

Hands down the best place to come and have a coffee. Probably serve one of the best coffee I have had to date. We gladly enjoyed our egg benedict and coffee. Luckily enough, we were greeted and served by the owner himself. Warmest services ever. Will definitely come back here again the next time we are in town

The selection and standard is exceptional.
Being Carnival time, there were a lot of patrons which shows how popular it is

Wendlands is best described as your friendly local café with an upgrade. Amazing coffee and pastries as you'd expect but they also have phenomenal bread (seriously, try the olive and rosemary!) and a beautiful selection of cheeses. They are my first stop when I have last minute guests or when my caffeine cravings get a little out of control. The girls who work there always greet you with a smile and if you're fortunate enough to be served by Karsten, I guarantee you'll walk out feeling sunnier than when you walked in. Well done team :)

We bought a variety of cheeses here. Very helpful staff happy to explain the different cheeses, many from overseas. Delicious

All our senses were titilated with anticipation then satisfied. The service is friendly, familiar and attentive. The englishman who behaves like he lives and breathes the business is cheeky so ask him to sing a rugby song for you! The Merlot coffee was better than from Merlot's own cafés. Mèrci beaucoup!

That's how you do it. Good, warm service wins every time. There's passion in what they do and you can tell.

Food is always excellent . The cakes and pastries are fabulous and the coffee is great. Nick is always so hospitable. I have also had some great conversations with the owner .

Amazing selection of cheese, bread, olives, ready meals, cakes and cooking supplies. Great stuff too. It's been around for ages and is reliably very good.
Not a massive fan of their coffee. Not sure why they stick with merlo...

I had been searching for months for a specific Italian Sheep cheese and have been unable to locate any in either Toowoomba or Brisbane.
I contacted Wendland who didn't have any in stock, however made the effort to source the specific cheese I was chasing.
Such a fantastic business who go above and beyond to try and source beautiful European cheeses and meats for their customers.
I am so appreciative of the team for taking the time to source me the product I was chasing.
They also have Alternative Milk Co Almond and Oat milk and Merlo coffee which is a match made in heaven! Thanks again guys!

Great place for Breakfast and/or lunch. Visited today and was blown away by how good a Lamb Shepherds Pie was! 🙂 Definitely recommend and will return! 🙂
