Launceston Medical Centre

Great care at this clinic, all the Dr's I have seen have been great. Never feel rushed. Dr Tip is my main Dr and has really helped me with something long term. The complaints I have are not specifically about this clinic but a general reflection of GP access in Tasmania. It is a shame that bulk billing is so difficult to access, my visits are less frequent than they should be because of this, and same day appointments are difficult to get unless it is something that can be treated at the respiratory clinic.

But absolutely wonderful service from reception staff, the nurse and the gp I saw. So friendly, helpful and happy. We are a travelling family and we had such a positive experience.
Easy to make an appointment, reasonable wait time and accessible price.

We love this practice. Organised, great listeners. Our GP really cares about her patients. Reception team always helpful. The buildings a one stop shop including specialists, chemists, parking and a coffee shop.

Appointment kept punctually, very helpful and interested doctor (Luttrell). Great that Pathology and Pharmacy are in the same complex. The only problem I had was in finding my way around the 2 levels, not all signs have been updated.

Always a good experience at LMC. Staff are friendly and my doc is always keen to listen and not rush me out the door. Can't speak highly enough. It will be awesome when the construction works are done and the whole centre can expand.

Excellent service and good care from Dr Ahdieh. Friendly and efficient reception staff and a pleasant waiting area.

The Staff both Medical and Front counter Coffee shop and all the other facilities now and for the future developments are so badly needed and OUR LMC is helping in a big way to take up the reins for our Launceston Community

especially at my age not just the medical its everything at the moment and if they are not able to fix it all the referals are amazing

Launceston Medical Centre is a well organised, efficient and professional medical practice. Reception staff are welcoming and helpful. The doctors and nurses I have interaction with have a friendly but professional approach which assures me that I am receiving the best advice and treatment possible!

Great practice, amazing, kind and caring doctors and nurses, excellent staff and customer service, centrally located, with pathology, specialists and pharmacy all easy to access within the same complex, always running on time, hardly ever any wait time. Kiosk inside, relax and have a cuppa or a bite and read the paper whilst waiting for someone in an appointment, or grab and go after your appointment. Modern, roomy and spacious surgery with a relaxing and comfortable feel. Great seating options, nicely spaced out and roomy, not overcrowded. Highly recommend this medical centre, definitely the best in Launceston. Also located a stones throw from the Launceston General Hospital.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional in their approach to my first visit. The Doctor was attentive, empathic and willing to share his knowledge and answer my questions.

First time appointment moved from previous practice (33 years )office staff brilliant waited to see Dr Lawson discussed previous
medication.

The Launceston Medical Clinic provides exceptional healthcare with efficient staff who make every visit a positive and reassuring experience. Highly recommended for their professionalism and patient-centered approach. Especially during the current building works.

I have been so fortunate to receive the care from LMC, they are truly amazing. The owner Jerome Muir-Wilson is just an outstanding medical professional, and his Practice Manager Kat Martin is also an amazing human. I suffer with complex PTSD due to my law enforcement background, and have tried taking my own life, and it’s only because of the care, empathy and compassion of this medical practice that I am still here today. My new doctor, Dr Neerage is just such a beautiful man & doctor, he truly cares for his patients especially when they are going through difficult times like I have been, and he is such a caring GP that words I write here will never be enough. I have tremendous respect for all of these people and I am so fortunate to have the continued support of them all.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, (my first time going there). I was in very quickly! Dr Suresh Sharma was lovely, happy to keep seeing him 🙂

I have always had a good experience at the medical Hub. I never feel rushed by the Dr and always given an opportunity to express any and all concerns. Highly recommend

However the parking situation currently is a nightmare 😳

A Quick visit..The Counter staff were very helpful and friendly. It was 20 mins total from walking into the Centre and then to leaving. The GP was pleasant and professional. He answered my questions and checked the paperwork. A very welcome suprise for me and a far cry from my previous "other" Medical Centre experience where an hour and a half wait was experienced and not seen as unusual. I am glad I made the switch to the Launceston Medical Centre. It also has the added benefit that is within short walking distance from my house. So no more getting in the car and driving! All good.

I had an awesome experience at Lton Medical Centre today. My Doctor is very thorough, caring & sensitive to my needs. The reception staff are always very friendly & in past they scanned, sent docs via email to make it easier for me to save & forward for a claim. This saved me the stress of scanning doc page by page. The young ladies 1st & 2nd from front door today 14th Nov 23 (opposite the blood test rooms) were lovely, professional, pleasant & efficient.
I visited LMC originally 5 years ago in the after hours surgery during a time of immense stress & anxiety for me. All the Drs I've been to since have very understanding of my genuine needs. I switched to LMC as my previous Dr at different surgery was never as supportive as I found at LMC. I've always felt I'm receiving the best care & service at LMC. Thankyou 👏
