Rhubarb for Gifts and Wrap

Noticed this place after coming across it on a walk home via a detour… was determined to visit, so I made a mental note and did just that, on a Saturday. The shop is situated in an old Methodist church or church hall, and if for no other reason but this, is soooo interesting and ambient. The hall is chockablock with gifts of all sorts and sizes, so there’s something for everyone you want to gift! Really, you could spend an hour just looking around, from clocks and clothing, to garden paraphernalia out in the courtyard where there is a lovely, sunny, sit down area for having a coffee. The Cafe runs through the middle of the hall and they do have delicious looking baked goods and decent coffee being served up there.
I really think this is such a gem and such a lovely way to spend a Saturday or any free weekday afternoon, just browsing and whiling away time for a little bit. It seems almost a holiday experience right almost in the heart of Launceston, in Northern Tasmania. An experience therefore you can have six days a week, and virtually not leave home to have it.
The customer service is fast, approachable and very good too. Food and coffee arrived in a timely manner, and my enquiry about a product was to be followed up for me which, I’m thrilled about.
I look forward to many visits here in the future, and also to purchasing potentially cherished gifts here too. For me, this was a wonderful little break from the busy everyday! Love ❤

Ruth is really kind and nice, she picked us on the road while we wanted to join Launceston by foot. She gave us perfect coffee and delicious muffin! Her shop is full of treasures, I think you can find a good quality and original present for everyone of your family :)

Lovely shop with a quaint atmosphere and great coffee. The employees are very friendly and welcoming. A great place to pick up unique gifts, with a selection that changes regularly.

Visited for the first time today, what a beautiful shop! Lovely ladies and a massive range of wares. Picked up some lovely flowers for only $25, I’ll be back!

This was the most gorgeous gift shop filled with nik naks and home wares with great food as well. It appeared to have a lot off local artisan items as well as local produce. The atmosphere was busy which is always a good sign.
The service was very friendly and the coffees were made very quickly despite quite a few people ordering.
I will definitely be back again to do some serious shopping in here. 😁

A wonderful gift shop full of gifts for every person, for every occasion, and every budget.
A quaint little corner for coffee cake and a catch up.
However the most outstanding quality of this store is the customer service.
Ruth and team are the lovliest, most hospitable and welcoming staff I have ever encountered.
I was there with my grandchildren 4 and 6, while their mum shopped for her birthday gift, the ladies went above and beyond to accommodate us all.
Everything was a pleasure for them and they both clearly love their job.
A hidden gem in Launceston well worth a visit. You will not be disappointed.

The best place ever for gifts! Has been my local place for years now. The staff are all amazing and they have the coolest stock.

Fabulous for gifts, and great little corner for a hot drink and something from the sweets cabinet, freshly made on site unlike many other cafes.

Came back again and this time I had a lovely meal - salmon, dill and caper tart, coffee and salted caramel tart. Such a happy baby when finished and topped up my belongings with a few new bits and pieces...... and still have only peeked at half the store. Well worth a regular sticky beak. AND they are having a car park sale this Sunday

Chilled atmosphere. Friendly service. Good coffee. The peppermint slice was the highlight of my day. True story.

One of my favourite shops for gift finding for friends birthdays. Also handy place to catch up with my daughter in law and granddaughter for a coffee and treat.
