Eat-It Cafe & Takeaway

The takeaway was cooked quickly and well the Schnitzel Burger was really good, decent chips.
Staff where also really friendly meals where well priced

I only stop in once or twice a year when travelling to visit family. Always high quality meals and always clean. Staff are excellent. This takeaway never disappoints. Thanks

Stopped in on the way from Victoria & my god what a feast! Customer service was amazing & food was outstanding. If your in Coonabarabran & looking for a good feed you need to go here.

We went to have a look at this cafe because they had a Big Coke Can on their roof.
We saw people eating in and lot's of people getting takeaway which is always a good sign that the food is good.
Well it was absolutely delicious and so very happy we decided to eat in.
We both had a Burger with the Works and boy did it have everything on it.
Loved the square rolls they used which was a much better idea than the round hamburger rolls and a great change.
Real Hamburgers that tasted delicious.
Then we ordered a Small chips which came out in a Big Bowl, Certainly a decent enough serve that we couldn't finish them all.
Chips were cooked perfect and just the right amount of salt that didn't over take the taste of the chip.
$10 each for the Burgers, differently worth it.
$4.50 for Small Chips which was a Big Serve.
Lovely happy staff, enjoying jokes as the worked which was terrific to see.
It is our regret that we didn't find this Cafe earlier and not on our last day as I'm sure we would have eaten there for the 5 days we stayed in Coonabarabran.
I will be telling all our friends to make sure they go there when they are in Town, we were visiting from the Gold Coast.

Stopped in on the way back to Queensland for a feed got a big bit of fish, two handfuls of chips and a can of drink for $14! The fish was perfect and the service was excellent Thanks guys!

The fish is coated in the crunchiest, flakiest batter that melts in your mouth, best tasting fish this side of the East Coast.

In the middle of winter, I wanted a salad for lunch (gluten free makes lunches difficult to purchase for takeaway). They were the only place in town that had a chicken salad in a bowl on offer. It was so value packed with a wide variety of salad - SO yummy and filling! I added the sweet potato wedges - double YUM! Highly recommend this place. A wide variety of takeaway food on offer with booths you can sit in to eat in store, or take away and enjoy the outdoors in the park just down the road.

Very friendly team, busy spot. We realised they'd undercharged us, hubby went up and paid the extra. They gave us our icecream free cos we were honest. Boysenberry swirl, yum.
The chicken n chips for $7 is good value.

Best fish and chips and hamburgers

When I was a child we used to drive down from Sydney to country Victoria once a year to visit my great grandmother, Doris. The highlight of our trip was driving to Bendigo, the birthplace of the chicko roll, for that delightful moment of summer crunch. Well, I must say, those memories have finally been outshone. Thankyou eat it. I don't know what you put in your chicko rolls but I suspect that the secret ingredient is love.

Ok I won't lie we were super excited to find this place after a few days in town working. They have a huge selection ok classics. The diner style booth seating is also super cool. Highly reccomend!

Absolutely perfect, the fish is some of the best cooked fish I’ve ever had.
