Amber Court Motor Inn

My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and warm on a very cold night. However I really wanted to highlight the exceptional kindness shown to me by the managers of this motel.. I had car trouble, I called ‘road side assist’. I had told operator I was broken down outside the ‘Amber Court’ motel at Coonabarabran… Unbeknownst to me, the operator couldn’t find a service provider in the immediate area to assist me… so she rang the motel to see if they could help… and they did!.. I am so grateful for this kindness from the motel managers and the road assist operator they went above and beyond.. thank you.

You know the feeling of staying in a motel where it never feels quite clean, and you're conciously aware of the people that stayed in there before? Well, you can forget about it here!

I didn't expect much - pulled in to town hoping for anywhere that had a spare bed. When I walked in, I was blown away with the standard of cleanliness and care that had been put in to the room. It sounds so weird to say, but I was extremely impressed with the bathroom. It is evident that the cleaners regularly do detailed (not just shower, sink and toilet) cleaning - it actually felt really nice to have a shower here!

The bed was really comfortable. My first thoughts were that it was a little firm, but it was clearly comfortable enough that I was lights out as soon as I got under the covers.

Other little things - separate recyling bins for cans and bottles, eco-friendly toiletries and kitchen items, and accommodating staff were all very much appreciated. It's a shame the restaurant was closed, because I'm sure it would've been great too.

Thanks very much for the stay and I will gladly stop here instead of Dubbo again the next time I'm passing through

Excellent Motel located at central location close to Coonabarabran attractions and Narrabri...Rooms are good conditioned with heaters, laundry, etc. Woolworths and Gas station is close by to shop. Nice swimming pool onsite. I love this place and bang on to money.

Best sleep I've had in ages. Queen Bed really supportive with lux mattress topper-extra pillows supplied. Renovated really big clean room. I didn't expect the room would be so good for the price. The owner was really helpful- even staying open late for my check-in. Will stay here everytime

Great hostman ... Great location... Some traffic noise but to tired to care after a long drive .. has a pool

The room was extremely clean and had a nice modern feel with a new television, reverse cycle air conditioning, bar fridge, iron and ironing board, jug, tea and coffee facilities, biscuits, table and chairs and most of all a comfortable bed. Management was extremely knowledgeable about the local areas and attractions and more than happy to help with any needs. Exceptional value and quality for the price.

Very comfortable and clean will stay again

Great motel to stay at we drove down from Qld on our way to Vic and stayed her for the night. They allowed a later check in so worked so good for us. Only downfall was the very low shower pressure

Lovely room, clean, tidy and cosy. All the amenities were great. Parking right in front of our room. Loved Coonabarabran and the trip!

Great little place it was unfortunate that the cook was sick that night so we couldn't use the restaurant never mind there was another great shop up the road would stay there again clean rooms 😀

Great helpful staff but beds are very firm and cold in winter due to lack of insulation.
