I like the restaurant not because how fancy the dishes look like but Mom made tasting also owner is nice one, I will go often for sure.

The food here is absolutely worthy! I mean the owner of this little place is nice and also good services! You can have traditional Chinese Sichuan Spicy food here(not that kind of fake Chinese food!) Also you can ask chief to make the dishes you wanna eat! And open to midnight!

The Monday night we turned up it was absolute chaos - and we loved it. If you want genuine Chinese food cooked traditionally by a person who loves the food she makes, this is for you.
This is not fine dining by any stretch (although the food would put lots of bigger places to shame). The place is threadbare in tables and chairs and the place looks rough. But that's part of the charm of the place. We had to wait for a while for our food due to their being a family do on that night - but it was worth the wait and the owners and family were just lovely.
Honestly some of the best food i have tasted - any my partner is Chinese and a mean cook herself. I'd add two points - water needs to be put on the tables as guests arrive and do not change anything about how the place operates. Loved the noise and interactions.

Like other reviewers have said, this place feels more like a home kitchen and you’ve been invited around for dinner. But the place feels authentic and without being heavily westernised.

The decor is a bit tired, and the floor is a bit sticky, but you can tell that the place is loved.

I asked for the chef’s recommendation - she suggested Kung Pao chicken.

Best Kung Pao Chicken I’ve ever had - the ingredients are fresh, tasty, it’s on the spicy side (for white tastebuds), one dish comfortably feeds two people, and it’s reasonably priced.

I’ll definitely be back.

This place is simply amazing! Super authentic food at great prices. Salt and pepper tofu a must. Vibe is so chill, more like eating in a relatives house than at a restaurant.

This is my husband and my favourite restaurant in Ringwood & Wantirna area! The best value with the best flavour to all dishes! Can’t be more happy to eat here everyday.

EXACTLY what home cooking is like in China! Would definitely recommend!! Try the yuxiang pork shred if u can handle a bit of spicy food.
