The food was really good. I also like the environment. However, the service was pretty slow. We waited a long time to be able to order food. But the waiting was worth it! I definitely recommend this restaurant!

What a place, we love quirky restaurants, I didnt post all my photos as I have to leave something as a surprise for you to see. Make sure you look everywhere as there are things everywhere. The staff were friendly and fast. I recommend to book, as they only do dinner from Thurs- .Sunday. There is nothing elegant, but that is part of the charm. It was a bit hot when we first arrived, but the day hit 43, so that wasn't their fault. There are seats out side as well as some friendly animals that you can pat. There is a disabled toilet and plenty room for a wheelchair.

Love this place, so much to look at! My daughter loves the animals (so do i), and the food is great. The homemade cheesecake is worth the 3-hour drive for us to get there. This is our second time visiting, and we will definitely be back!

This place was awesome! Food was amazing, service was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome. If I lived locally I would definitely be a regular. Definitely worth checking out!

Cannot recommend this place enough!
The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food was great and service fantastic.
Kids loved the animal petting area out the back and both of us parents loved the quirky dining areas (inside and out).
It is also a free camp area for travellers passing through and campers are not expected to eat at the pub, although we highly recommend even going in to have a drink to support these awesome people. If we could have given them more stars we would have.

Really great service, great chips, schnitzels are normal size, thick and perfectly cooked. Mushroom sauce was nice. Lemon cheesecake that was homemade was the best I’ve ever had, perfect. Hoping to come back during the day to see the animals.

Absolutely loved it, had everything I loved, warming atmosphere, delicious food, great service and animals! Jeffrey the goat was so smoochy. Highly recommend !

Eccentric and unassumingly delicious! Get the garlic prawns, the steak and the barramundi. Amazing chips and cocktails too! Make sure to pop out the back to check out the emus, llamas, geese and goats!

An incredible experience !! And a must visit if you are anywhere in the area .
You enter a little forest full with funny signs “ Mate 😂”, followed by an open area with a fire pit and a few lamas and Emus walking around !
The restaurant is another level ! , it’s full of completely random stuff hanging on the walls and ceiling .... a bicycle , coins and notes, number plates, stuffed toys , tons of signs and lots of bras 😹, yes bras !! And lots of others things .
Frank , the owner is lovely old man who comes and visit every table . He is very friendly and you can easily see how passionate he is about what he does .
Food is also very good and they have a wide verity of drinks .
I’ve been to many restaurants in many countries , but will definitely always remember this one !
If you see a big red angry bird hanging somewhere , it’s what I left them as a souvenir !!

The restaurant is hide in the bush. But worthy spend your money and time to visit. And you’ll come back in couple days.
Meals are great. Gorgeous decor and ambiance.
our chicken breast are soft juicy not dry portions are huge price are reasonable.
Last but not least, you’ll have surprise when you finish your meal and take a stroll outside.

Loved this place. There is so much to take in, so much to look at and so many bits and pieces from probably the last 60 years or so, hanging around the big old shed! It’s very well spaced out and set up. The food was delicious and very hearty and also big portions. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing place that should be no.1 for everyone. A must visit restaurant with a classic outback Australian steakhouse feel! Great open location with plenty of character, owner Frank is a great bloke and goes out of his way to help you feel relaxed and comfortable. Great local steaks and kangaroo also good selection of local beers.
Would 10000% recommend for everyone!!

Amazing place if you’d like a beautiful meal with a laid back atmosphere. We recently celebrated my son’s birthday and the kids absolutely loved wondering around outside. Regardless the place was fully booked we had our meals on the table within 20 minutes. Everyone was impressed by their dinner, all was up to a very high standard.
We will sure return and recommend it every time we have a chance.

This was an amazing surprise, when we decided we’d go somewhere different for dinner we had no ideas how different it would be. The food is genuinely really good, however that’s not what makes this experience so great. The service is next level, I don’t think I’ve ever felt as welcomed at any establishment I’ve ever eaten at, then there’s the animals and the other collectibles and curiosities. The kids even got to hug an emu, a kangaroo and goats and horses!!

This place was amazing food was amazing owner came up and talked to us and was really genuine service was really fast but we did beat the crowd as just after we got our food the place became packed would 100% recommend. Lots of nic-naks on the walls was a fun place

This is one of the most unique dining experiences you can find. The quirkiest paraphernalia any where. Even stranger than the Ettamogah pub. The owner Frank is a top character. The food is sensational and varied. Asian style. Great steaks, crocodile not your ordinary menu. A little bit out of the way but if you are passing though the river land this is a must stop at venue.
Make no mistake you will enjoy a stop over here.

This place is the whole package, checking out all the fun little jokes and animals will keep you or the kids entertained for quite a while even before you step foot in the restaurant. When you do actually finally get into the restaurant there is alot to take in, more jokes and all soughts of stuff hanging off the ceilings and walls, this place is as aussie as they come. The owner frank is a funny guy interacting with customers and just providing a good old fashioned service that unfortunately you don't see much these days. Prices are not too bad, about on par with every where else but the quality of the food certainly is not, it is so hard to find a really good steak in adelaide, ive had to travel 250kms out to find pretty much the perfect steak. So juicy and tender and cooked to absolute perfection with just a bit of pink on the inside, and when you cut into it no blood comes out as happens with alot of other restaurants. There is a kids menu as well and the barbecue in the middle of the restaurant was pretty cool too watching the chef cook the steak right in front of you

Wow, best chicken parmi I've ever had! Very fun rustic setting with plenty of animals to see and interact with. Highly recommend for families and anyone that wants an outback vibe with quality food.
