Great view. Feels serene especially when the weather is lovely. Careful of the flying foxes though, there are quite a few of them hanging around in the trees.

Autumn trees looking beautiful about the park. Hired electric scooters from information centre for an hour and it was great to ride around the park and lake.

First time at Floridale tulip festival. Beautiful arrays of tulips planted across the park. It’s crowded. Day visits are free and night shows are ticketed.

I was amazed by its beauty. However, one thing that really stood out was the sheer number of Flying Foxes in the park! It was an unexpected sight, with way too many of them hanging around. But aside from this, the park itself is a stunning place to spend time in. The greenery, the serene atmosphere, and the well-maintained paths make it an ideal spot for relaxation and leisure. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat amidst nature. Just be ready for the Flying Foxes - they’re quite a sight!

Came again at Canberra Floriade , Australia’s Biggest Celebration of Spring. Excellent arrangement of flower festival, specially Tulip. If you love Tulip 🌷 and flowers then don’t miss this awesome spring festival. Really well managed , love the parking 🅿 facilities and volunteers help. Pretty busy on weekend but if you are patience then get parking. Love the vibe and view.

We came here during Floriade 2023. The flowers were a riot of colours and there were food and drink stalls serving a variety of foof. The live band was also very good. Although it was pretty crowded, we had a good time.

I liked it - great to have seen and experienced Floriade in Canberra. Family friendly atmosphere. Free entry during the day. Car parking was handled well (parked across the road).

Worth to have a visit with family, couples and friends, no need to buy ticket. Taking a lot of pictures with beautiful flowers. Have many foods stalls or souvenirs insides.

Visited during Floriade and it was a beautiful day. Take your water bottle, there are a few places to fill up or spend about $6 for 2. Bring a hat or an umbrella it can be difficult to get shade in some places

Beautiful and lengthy walking paths. The trees were beautiful in autumn!

Came here for the famous Florida.
Worth the 3hours drive from Sydney.
Parking was easy on that day. Little bit raining but tulip 🌷 pretty as they are.
Reasonable price for the food.
Little bit too early for that date. Might be full blossom next week.

The Floriade event at the Commonwealth Park was fantastic! Beautiful floral displays and the music and performances on the big stage were really entertaining. Really recommend visiting while the event is still taking place.

The park by the lake is an ideal spot for walks and occasional events, perfect for picnics as well.

One of the must visit places in Canberra. There's an exhibition as well detailing the history of Canberra as well as Australia. Just as you walk out of the exhibition building, you can see the park and the lake or you can go straight to the park. It's an awesome place to sit down especially in the evening. You get a view of the city, the bridge and all the lights.

Amazing place to hang around with kids and family.. Plenty of things to do.. Walking, biking, playing.. Scenic views like the water fountain in the middle of lake.. Can get busy at times.. especially during special events.. there are plenty of parking places as well , Well maintained and pleasant. Offers stunning views of Canberra's iconic buildings. Great place for a picnic or a pleasant stroll along the edge of Lake Burley Griffin.
