Reflections Restaurant

Came for Sunday lunch, I think it's different each week, this day the chefs special was Beef cheeks with broccoli on potatoe gratin and red wine jue, which I would of loved alittle bit more... Then there was the Curry Lamb, which smelt divine, and a decent plate of Fish and chips.. All $35 with a beer and wine. The service was great, nice atmosphere newly renovated nice warm fire, will definitely be back again...

Such a perfect place for a date night dinner. Highly recommend getting a table near the fireplace. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and knowledgable. We ordered the truffle pasta with added shaved truffle and the wagyu steak. Both were lovely. The standout dish however, had to be the Honey and Macadamia Cheesecake that really hit the spot. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island.

The desserts from here are absolutely standouts. Our favourite was the honey/macademia cheesecake which is clearly a perfected recipe.

The staff are super friendly, and struck the right balance of attentativeness and allowing guests to enjoy their own meals/company.

Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant at the Mercure, American River. Try the Brodetta. A fisherman's stew. The flavors are magnificent. If you are a KI local you can contact the Mercure and unlock a managers special.

Lovely service. Food was average, and the chef likes to sprinkle dust on everything to hopefully distract you from the mediocre food. Don't waste your money on the dessert.

The kind of place you try and decide you definitely want to return. Warm and expert hospitality, awesome food and an excellent selection of island wines and beers.

Dining with ocean bay and pool view. The food was tasty with of a bit of Italian creativity and perfection. The cooking is really worthing a return.

Had a wonderful evening celebrating my birthday. Staff were lovely, food was fantastic and value for money. Best restaurant on the Island. Can't go past the Aniseed Icecream for Dessert - AMAZING!!

Both the food and the service were excellent. Catered to dietary requirements and informed us what other meals were also suitable. Pricing was fair considering what was served. Can't wait to come back, absolutely delicious

Absolutely fantastic service buy this South American waiter OMG amazing guy JP he looks after everyone so well and love his attitude, wish we could see this at every establishment! JP needs a pay raise… he constantly refused our offers to tip . Please come here and find out

We went here for dinner on our first night in American River, we loved it that much that we went back the second night. Locally sourced menu that tastes magnificent. Highly recommend this restaurant. Our waitress was very helpful, accommodating and friendly.

Surprisingly good, the kangaroo fillet, barramundi, the linguini were quite nice. Pumpkin soup was a bit too salty.
They do room service too.
