Oceanview Eco Villas

This is the best place we stayed on our 2 month travels. Tam and Tim are the perfect hosts and have build a dream of a house that we had the privilege to stay in. Coming back after an adventurous day and being served cocktails and a marvelous dinner in our room was marvelous and so relaxing. Thank you so much.

Our stay at Oceanview Eco Villas was, simply put, wonderful. Our host, Tim and Tam went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, accommodated a special request and cared for my husband's minor injury which he sustained earlier during the day. They are "real people".
The venue was just as shown on their website; however, actually being there was very special. The daily visits from the kangaroos was much anticipated.The air we breathed, the sunsets, our meals were all beyond our expectations. Talking about the food....wow! We are foodies and our meals at the villa and the picnic baskets were all nutritious and healthy. Tam explained the ingredients of each dish and answered all of our questions pertinent to our meals. No processed anything here. Cocktails, yes please. The kitchen was very well stocked with quality items such as crackers and cheese, chips, juice, tea, coffee, sweets, etc...
Our compliments to Tim and Tam for attaining their goal of making the villas eco friendly without sacrificing comfort except for TV ,which at the end of the day, was a welcomed sensory relaxation. The villas have Wi-Fi so if you must stream, no problem. The villas are not just a nod to eco living but eco everything. Being from Florida, upon arrival I inquired as to the location of the air conditioning. None, and absolutely not necessary given the well designed airflow.
Then there was the daily outings to spectacular sites (seals, rock formations, beaches off the beaten bath, koalas, etc.) and always accompanied with a picnic basket containing a delicious lunch. The outings were never rushed and flexibility was no problem.
I gave this property five stars which are well deserved. I highly recommend this property for couples or families.

Tamsin and Tim should be very proud of what they have created with Oceanview Eco Villas. We went for our honeymoon and had the best stay. The property is immaculately designed with beautiful fixtures, furniture and finishing. Tamsin and Tim are lovely hosts, passionate about KI, and their guests’ experience. Tamsin is an amazing cook, whipping up delicious food and cocktails. They even have visiting kangaroos that you might be lucky enough to pat!

This is truly the best accommodation on the island. We were thoroughly spoilt. Tamsin & Tim are really the most fabulous and gracious hosts and are passionate about the experience they provide. The meals were simply stunning and luxury restaurant quality. Tamsin & Tim we’re both really helpful at recommending places to see and go on the island too. We can’t wait to revisit and stay here again.

We spent the most spectacular 3 days at Oceanview Eco View Villas while visiting Kangaroo Island. The villas are brand new, beautiful, comfortable and the views are incredible. The food Tamsin made was delicious, fresh and plentiful. The island alone is amazing, but Tim and Tamsin made our stay on Kangaroo Island extra special!

We are pretty well traveled around the world but never have we experienced such great level of hospitality as Tamsin and Tim has shown us. The view is amazing. The food is great. The villa is very comfortable, and then there is the care and hospitality from Tim & Tamsin. We came with our young family (wife, 2 young boys), and had the most amazing holiday experience of our lives.

Highly recommend it. We will definitely be back again!!

We had an amazing time staying at Oceanview Eco Villas during the October Long Weekend. Highly recommend if you’re seeking quality accommodation, great food and an absolutely amazing experience! The Villas were very peaceful, comfortable and had great views of Kingscote and the coast. All meals exceeded our expectations. All were made from local produce from the island, and were on par or better than what you get in most restaurants.

Our 3 kids aged between 5-10 years travelled with us. They were made to feel very welcome and were given a personalised gift on arrival to help settle in. Our kids loved the food & absolutely loved the wildlife that appeared in the evenings in front of the villas which included Kangaroos, wallabies, and array of different birds.

The Villas incorporated lots of small comforts that you would expect with luxury accommodation including one of the best minibars we have ever seen!

Honestly where to start! The view even driving in is breathtaking, but there is so much more in store. Beautifully appointed throughout (,we stayed in Flinders villa), the bed is super comfy and bathroom massive with a gorgeous bath overlooking the vast ocean. Toasty warm for us when it got cooler at night.. And the food! Wow! The last thing you want to do at night is trundle off looking for a meal so it is sheer luxury to be waited on and served delicious local produce in your own villa or at the hosts place. And do walk down to the beach. It's called redbanks for a reason! Just amazing.

If you want the complete package - quiet, private, comfortable, super clean and wonderful service you have found it! Don’t bother looking any further. We absolutely loved our experience at the oceanview eco villas surrounded by stunning views and an abundance of wildlife. The food needs a special mention, so fresh and delicious and a great way to experience the taste of KI. Thankyou Tamsin and Tim!

Alloggio e cibo stupendo, con ospite meraviglioso. Le eco villa sono completamente nuove e costruite con materiali sostenibili
e materiale riciclabile. I padroni di casa Tim e Tamsin usano tutti gli ingredienti alimentari locali. I gamberi e le ostriche locali freschi erano eccellenti. La vista panoramica al mattino sull'oceano vale la pena. Pace, natura e tranquillità.
