Of Stone & Wood’ couldn’t have been any better. Built on multiple levels every room has a view, even the loo. Multiple dinning areas, including table outside. Best kitchen of all the places we have ever stayed in. Surrounded by bush and total silence. A great base for exploring Kangaroo Island. We spent three great days in this tasteful and comfortable family-built house that boasts beautiful views in a quiet and private environment. The tank water is delicious and adjusting back to city water was difficult.

What a fabulous place to unwind and relax. A remote and peaceful location, with such a spectacular view from every window in this unique and beautiful property, it would have been easy to spend the entire holiday just at the property itself. However, we did venture out to explore KI and it was a great place to be based for our day trips to the north, south and east of the island. Aara provided us with excellent recommendations for food and not-to-be-missed highlights as well as clear instructions on how to get to the property and further afield.
Aara and family have built a beautiful place in a stunning location and we had a great time there. Thanks so much Aara for sharing your property with us - we had a lovely holiday and a great Christmas.

We were blown away by the beauty of this house - the peaceful setting and the incredible architecture of the property. Amazing attention to detail, and it was the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days with our family. Thank you!!

Lovely unique accomodation with spectacular views over pelican lagoon. Well equipped and comfortable accomodation for up to 6 people.

Been cleaning alot. Due to a mix up. House was not cleaned before we got there. We chose to stay and host was very accommodating. In morning coffee machine was faulty and pumped water all over the kitchen. Big clean up. So we used the stove top coffee and there was a piece missing so it exploded coffee all over the kitchen. Bigger cleanup. Ahh. All issues were addressed by host and had a great stay. Great location for exploring the island.
