Beautiful views, nice jetty, free parking space, public toilets 🚻 nearby, greenery surrounding, easy access, clear sign 🪧, seal 🦭 resting spot, and EV charger available beside the campground ⛺/ public toilets 🚻 .

Great place to watch the sun rise, and if you're looking for a safe easy option to fish with the kids this is the spot, the warfs good for salmon trout, silver trevally, tommies, king George Whiting, and Garfish from the jetty end. Can pull the car right up to where you're fishing.

A beautiful and peaceful area. Few people were seen fishing. Lots of pelicans in this area. A nice cafe nearby.

My go to place to relax, chill out, fish, watch the bird life, the seals, or just chat with the people fishing. I go when weather is good, water flat, night time or during the day. When it's good weather I sometimes get the kayak out n have a fish under....lol

Nice area, outgoing tide got some Gar action in the morning and seals at night rounded up some mullet

Like to walk the sands of Pelican Bay and listen for whispers of history? Matthew Flinders stopped ashore overnight here when darkness prevented return onboard his ship 200 years ago. Why not visit the shipyard where a replica of the ship 'Independence' is being constructed and chat with the shipwrights. By then you will feel like a coffee or snack. No problem. Right next door is The Deck Cafe where you will be assured of leaving replete. A great spot to include on your next visit to Kangaroo Island.
