Great caravan park. Gates are locked from 10pm to 7am so you feel very secure. The staff are incredibly friendly and willing to help. Amenities are spotless. Sites are level. Some sites have power and water but like most caravan parks out here you must ask for a water hook up and will pay extra for it. It is in the desert after all.
You can walk to town amenities and most tourist attractions from here. Best caravan park in town. We have stayed a number of times and will definitely stay again.

I camped at this Park, where I stayed overnight after my hikes in the RedCenter. It was just what I needed, the luxury of a warm shower, great kitchen and quiet cozy environment to feel safe and comfortable in my rooftop tent. I would come back here anytime, good value and professional friendly service.

We spent 2 nights at Oasis tourist park in our camper approximately 4 weeks ago. The team were friendly and welcoming and also provided local tours of the area (well worth going). The only negative was while on the tour we were extremely disappointed the tour guide pointed out the traditional people of the land as 'those people' and we don t want them here, which was very upsetting. As an Australian with international visitors on the tour, I found these comments upsetting as this type of comment is seen as a causal racist remark. This type of racism should not be conveyed to tourists or anybody and we must remember who was here first and we should respect that.

Would definitely stay here again. George was a fabulous host, we arrived after 10pm, with local hero John who towed our camper back into town after losing a wheel. Bulls garage right next door were also fantastic getting us up and running again. Never met a nicer bunch of down to earth and accommodating people. They all went out of their way to assist us. Oasis is a great place, amenities and accom is clean and comfortable, plenty of sites and space for caravans too.

Didn't stay at the caravan park but did their Coober pedy tour, and it was amazing. The tour guide was funny and informative. And showed us more stuff that was even on the tour, definitely worth the money.

Joined Sunset Tour with the company and it was beyond amazing! George is doing well being tour guide to show us around, and race back by 9pm for a quick drink at the underground pub too! Would definitely recommend!

Loved our stop here in Coober Pedy. This park is really central to the town, perfect spot. The park itself is a bit different but facilities pretty good. The most modern spacious bathroom which was welcomed, nice big shower cubicles which were amazing, you can get dressed without standing on wet floor!!! The tour with the owner was so fun, we had a bus full and was a great way to see Coober Pedy. Missed the breakaways unfortunately due to road being closed for something to do with the finx racing.

Very friendly welcome from the hostess and Neville kindly guided me into our allocated space. A shaded site with power and water for two adults we paid $77. A bit pricey but this is an oasis in the outback. There is a standing one off charge for the water supply, turned on with the tap key provided. Water charge was the $7. Water is at a premium out here, filtered artesian water good for drinking. Non domestic use is not allowed. Dog friendly our 2 boys were warmly welcomed. There is a pool. Amenities are very good. The gates are locked overnight for added security. Your receipt gets 10% of the local pizza bar and 2c per litre off fuel.

Best spot to stay in Coober Pedy for camping! Close to the shops and restaurants on the main street. Staff all super friendly and welcoming, we had an unpowered site which was located close to amenities. Bathrooms were sparkling clean and modern, laundry and the kitchen facilities were clean and in good working order. Happy to pay $1 for the shower considering the cost of water for the area and it was nice water. We did the morning tour with George around Coober Pedy - highly recommend you won’t regret it. Learning about the history of Coober Pedy from George as well as good pointers from him for your stay whilst you’re there! Couldn’t recommend this place more.

We stayed here for 3 nights while we explored the town. The park is on the lower end of the main street. There is an unique pool for you to enjoy. You can have water hook up at a cost. Amenities are spacious new and clean. We were lucky to get a site under cover so it wasn't as hot. Our hosts George and Vicky were so friendly and accommodating to us. We felt very welcome with our two pups.
Highly recommend this park in Coober Pedy.

Super 2 night stay in Coober Pedy.
Staff: friendly and welcoming
Grounds: flat and some shade available
Toilets and showers: 2 blocks, 1 near reception were new, others at the back of the site were older but all were immaculate. $1 for a 7 minute shower seemed fair enough given water situation.
Free wi-fi would have been nice.
Did the morning town tour and the sunset Breakaway tour with George, can highly recommend both.

Thank you to all the staff at Oasis Tourist Park. We cannot thank George, Mary, Cybele & Elizabeth for making us feel at home. You are all amazing, always caring. We very much appreciated for assisting us while our vehicle was being towed to Port Augusta.
I would highly recommend Oasis Caravan Park to anyone looking for a place to stay. Clean amenities, undercover caravan sites & the pool is a refreshing bonus. Thank you so much. 💓

Great caravan park. We enjoyed two stays here on our way to Uluru and back. On the way up we arrived with gusts up to 90km/h and had a site out of the wind and undercover. It wasn't to windy on the way back, but hot and the shade cover was great. The amenities are modern and always clean, their tour was great and staff are friendly. Used their discount for fuel and pizza's, the pizza's are delicious, and overall a great stay twice. Great phone reception for bot telstra and Optus.

Do not miss the Town & Mine Tour with George, the owner! He is a great tour guide and knows the town inside out. We really enjoyed our tour - thanks George! Now to the caravan park - amenities, pool & everything is supertidy. The place is secure, gates will be locked by 10pm. Please note - water hook-ups available but no fling of watertanks & showers are $1 for 7 minutes. Coober Pedy gets the water from the Artesian Basin, then it is desalinated & filtered , which makes the water from Coober Pedy the most expensive in AU.
Also note that the water for sale at the BP station is NOT AVAILABLE as it's out of order.

Stayed for two nights at Oasis Tourist Park. Loved how quiet it was. The amenities were clean. The pool was bloody freezing which was perfect on a 36 degree day. The gate was locked at night to ensure safety. Our two little dogs were welcome. 10/10
