Loved the service. The ladies who served us were so genuine and accommodated for vegetarian option with no arguments. We ordered Hayashi Ramen Vegetarian and Chicken Katsu curry ( came with miso delicious soup and rice) absolutely divine. The price was right as well . Ladies you have won yourself some regulars.

The best Japanese food I have ever had, it was very fresh and the flavours were amazing. Great service. Will be back very soon.

it’s super clean to be honest, the lady was super sweet and nice. Had the Karaage curry, served with rice and a bowl of miso soup, the chicken are pretty crunchy but not as original. Doesn't tase much of the ginger like it should. Hayashi raman was served in a big bowl, slow cooked pork was pretty tender, flavour was pretty good. Soup was alright, not super hot.

Outstanding service and friendly girls greeting you moment you step in. Chicken katsu is delicious as is the teriyaki beef. Highly recommend this little standout Japanese find!

Class food and amazing service. Understated. Atmosphere is lacking but made up by the quality of the food. Chilled mid-week date night.

Great food, easy to get to, loads of seats. I wish there was more of an atmosphere with some music or something because when there aren't many people there it does feel quite empty.

Really beautiful and clean space to sit down and dine. The staff was lovely with great service! I had sushi rolls, and my husband had a ginger pork bento box. Both of us were very happy with the quality of the food, and it's one of the best spots we've found in awhile! Will definitely be back!

Top quality Japanese for very accessible prices. Such lovely staff who welcome you to a very clean and inviting space with multiple seating options, outside tables, bar seating, numerous table options throughout two rooms on the ground floor.
Japanese beer on tap plus good bar menu makes it easy to find great food and drink options for prices that will make it hard to not come back. Love to eat here at-least once a week.

Amazing food that looks beautiful and tastes even better, fast, friendly, and knowledgeable service and a cozy atmosphere. Also, the highball that I had was delicious.

The restaurant has now been fully renovated with 2 shops joined tofether and the food has never failed to impress my taste buds.

What a gem! Had some wonderful tuna sushi and vegetable tempura. Partner had the Hayashi ramen and she really enjoyed that as well.

Highly recommend coming here. Amazing food and good value. Also quick and friendly service.

As I’m a big fan of Japanese food who’s been to A LOT of Japanese restaurants in Melbourne, I can say without any doubt that this restaurant has been the best one! The foods were all delicious and fresh! The eggplant was cooked perfectively soft! And try the beef sukiyaki it would definitely melt you with amazing favour in this cold weather. Staff are very friendly and knowledge about food! reasonably priced and good atmosphere you can have a lovely time with your people around (personally try to noisy crowded places) and the homemade black sesame icecream was the perfect ending of my dinner (thumbs up) would definitely go back anytime soon Thanks :)

Nice ambience and great service. I ordered the niku and egg udon. It tasted lovely and the noodles were nice and bouncy. Good portion size too. Would come again!

The restaurant is well-maintained. Clean toilets.

Doesn't really have "atmosphere". I suppose you could say it's casual. But the staff do make up for that by being super nice, and helpful.

Wonderful experience. Some of the best Japanese food in Melbourne and a warm and welcoming environment. Service was snappy despite it being a busy Friday night, and the serves are very generous. The Nasu Dengaku was to die for.
