Thrifty-Link Hardware - Beech Hardware & Building Supplies

Pulled over at the side of the highway to have my caravan gas bottles refilled. Owners were great, just a really kind husband and wife team that don't mind a bit of banter.
They were happy to offer advice too and chat about things in the local area. Definitely worth a visit here to support the locals instead of driving 30km to Bunnings.

I'm traveling and needed a silicone based lubricant. Came to this shop (and might never return).
The lady that helped me ended up finding their last bottle and because they had use it she just handed it to me. As in, she gave it to me. No hesitation, no thinking of it. She just said: "have it". I offered to pay. Even if a smaller amount. No, wouldn't take my money. I find this generosity quite frequent in rural and remote areas of Australia. Helpful and kind.

Love this Hardware Store .......Its like I'm home in there.....The lovely parrot recognises my voice I realised today after a very long chirpy welcome when I walked out to the plant section.....chatting away one of my favourite places to be.

Had a couple of visits here so far. Each time, we were greeted by happy, friendly, and helpful staff.

Never met such happy people enjoying their day at work in a hardware store. 100% friendly and quick service. I've never felt the need to leave a review for a hardware store before haha but definitely would recommend anyone to shop here.

Was in recently and knowledge is there . Was chasing tent pegs and got steel rods cut to size for me . Sand was too loose so I had the helpful young Lady cut foot long rods to bend to pegs . Was cheap too .

I always felt welcome. Excellent service and very professional. If they don't have it they'll get it for you.

Amazing little store full of quality hardware and more, that you won't find in the big places ,while you're walking around trying to find what you want, with a sausage in your hand!

These guys are small and struggle against stores like bunnings but have always been good to us and know their stuff.
